A unique chance to enjoy a truly exceptional cultural experience in the heart of Medieval and Renaissance Florence, a “tour of marvels” among the monuments of a square that is a concentration of art unlike any in the world. Your art historian guide will first take you to the Baptistery dedicated to St. John, the Patron Saint of Florence. Upon arrival in Manarola we’ll have free time to discover the little village. Later a local train will take us to the second village, Riomaggiore, for a pleasant stop to admire its beauties. We will proceed by boat to Monterosso, an ancient fishing village considered “the pearl of the Cinque Terre”, where you will be overcome by enchanting beaches and luxuriant vegetation that surrounds the little village. Here you will have free time to plunge into the crystal sea and eat a typical Ligurian light lunch (included).We’ll continue to Vernazza where we will admire the intricate layout of this village with its “carruggi” (narrow lanes) and steep stairways.After the visit in Vernazza we will reach La Spezia where our bus is waiting for us to come back to Florence. In addition to comfortable clothes, we recommend to have with you a swimwear and a hat to protect you against the sun…!!!

You will start from Florence to reach Monteriggioni, in the heart of Tuscany and well known for its wine and its countryside of unrivalled charm, with a turnover of vineyards and olive groves, in a landscape dotted with Romanesque churches, farmhouses, villas and castles. We’ll continue to Siena, where our local and expert guide will lead you through its steep medieval streets, admiring the splendid palaces until we will reach the Cathedral (exteri-or), Palazzo Comunale (Municipal Building) and Piazza del Campo where the Palio race takes place every year. Time for lunch with local products buffet with 3 courses menù. Our Pastry chef will show you how to make typical senese sweets and tasting of Panforte, Cantuccini and Ricciarelli. Free time for shopping. We will continue to San Gimignano, one of the most fascinating examples of medieval towns, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. It is often nicknamed the “Manhattan of the Middle Ages” because its famous tall, narrow towers create a skyline that looks a bit like a modern city. Here you have free time to explore the town centre, the charming craftsmen’s shops along the cobbled stone streets and small squares. From San Gimignano, we drive past hilltop hamlets, or little churches, scattered over some of the most beautiful and enchanting countryside. We fi-nally wind down the hillsides towards the coast, to Pisa, our last destination for the day. Getting off the coach, we reach the Field of Miracles, a green grass field dominated by the dazzling white buildings of the Cathedral or Duomo, the Tower and the Baptistery - exqui-site examples of Pisan Romanesque architecture: the Leaning Tower is almost 56 meters tall (about 183 ft). It leans at about 4 degrees, making it one of the most famous and iconic buildings in the world.
