The GM Advance material is the latest in soft lens material innovation. This material is provided in 49 % and 58 % water contents both offering lower modulus figures and therefore greater flexibility when machined to a finished soft contact lens. This quality is matched by exceptional elongation characteristics ensuring low levels of lens breakage and greater durability.

Material Benefits

• GM Advance has a lower modulus, higher tensile strength and higher elongation to break,

than other GMA base materials.

• The blend of components used in GM Advance materials provides much higher quality

lens surfaces and edges.

• GM Advance is more dimensionally stable than other GMA based materials and much

more stable than other soft lens materials.

• GM Advance resists dehydration longer and rehydrates faster than comparable materials.

• The dehydration of GM Advance is comparable to that of Polymacon and far better than

VP/PMMA based materials.

• GM Advance is available in 49 % and 58 % water contents.
