Definition

Condition resulting from an imbalance between the production and absorption of cerebral spinal fluid (CSF).

Occurs in 0,5-4 every 1000 births Cause may be congenital or acquired

Congenital maldevelopment, intrauterine infection

Acquired infection, neoplasm, hemorrhage 80-85% bersamaan dengan

myelomeningocele.
