In 1947, Mr. Lerman founded Steel Warehouse. Shortly after,

in 1954, Mr. Isabell founded Southern Fabricators in Memphis,

Tennessee. The two families combined forces in 1988. The

Lerman family of companies now includes two SFI Fabrication locations, 12 Steel Warehouse

locations in the USA, Mexico and Brazil. Now, well into the third

generation of the Lerman’s leadership, it always has and

always will be a family company.

SFI is a fully integrated fabricator encompassing two plants located in Memphis, Tennessee and Conway,

Arkansas. Under the same ownership umbrella of one of

the largest steel service centers in the country, SFI brings the

strength and breadth of over 1 million tons of steel and metals,

sourced, processed, and distributed across all industries

each year.
