World War IExhibitionLearn about the fascinating storyof World War 1 veteran, JamesEdgar from The Raan nearDownpatrick. Word came hometo his parents that he was killedin battle, but it transpired that itwas mistaken identity! Read theletters home, view originalartefacts saved by James and geta unique insight to this period.Exhibition is courtesy of hisgrandnephew Richard Edgar.Admission Free.

VictorianAfternoon TeaTea consumption increaseddramatically during the earlynineteenth century and it isaround this time that Anna, the7th Duchess of Bedford, is said tohave complained of “having thatsinking feeling” during the lateafternoon. King Robert, his Queenand their endearing son Joffreyalso stayed in The Cuan duringtheir Winterfell visit!
