Heritage Youth Conference The Shepherd’s Voice The are two very important events taking place in the month of August, for Victory Tabernacle. 1) August 4th Our Jubilee service in Panorama City at 5pm. All of our churches will bring as many visitors as possible to this Holy Ghost rally with Elder Morton. 2) August 16th - 18th Our new Fuego Pentecostalbilingual conference will be launched with the anointed preaching of Bro. Clay and Bro. Melendez. The word Pentecost means fifty, so join in giving fifty invitations to both Spanish and English speaking people. Everyone deserves a chance to feel the Pentecostal fire at least once! Pastor White I made the decision this year to attend an out of state youth conference, Heritage. Heritage had the most exquisite, beautiful presence of God I have ever been able to feel at a conference. The services were short but sweet and focused on the Word. Aside from the gorgeous snippet of Colorado we were able to see, I thoroughly relished the preaching I was able to hear. Although each preacher preached messages that stayed in both my mind and heart, the ones that stood out to me the most were sermons preached by Brother Garrett, Brother Lawhorn, and Pastor White. Brother Garrett preached about "Singleness of the Heart," and "Spring Up, O' Well." The main point of the first was to look at where our aims and goals are what are our hearts singling out and paying attention to? "Spring Up, O' Well" was about digging in the dry areas of our lives with the intention and determination of allowing a well of living water to flood them. Both literally and figuratively, digging is a challenge and not enjoyable. However, pain, sweat, and tears do make way for that unspeakable joy. Brother Lawhorn preached a message that struck deep. His main point was about the sin of thinking you are better than the saint who does not spiritu- ally meet your "level." And the cherries on top were the messages preached by our own Pastor. He spoke about knitting together as a youth group, and faith in the supernatural. Binding with chords that cannot be broken is the best way to pave the way for continual revival. And faith in the supernatural only makes our relationships with God even sweeter and invites our great God to do the mighty miracles He wants to do! Spiritually, Heritage is a conference I would recommend to all. Eliana
