The Youth Entrepreneurship Conference is a resource exposing youth to the field

of entrepreneurship. The main goal is to provide resources for youth to help them

create STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) ventures.

Throughout the conference, students will take part in an Innovation Challenge

where they will think about an idea, research using tools from entrepreneurs and

create inventures (innovation + invention + ventures).

Outcomes

Students learned:

how to build a business plan and think entrepreneurial;

how their current course work integrates with STEM and Entrepreneurship;

about additional resources on STEM opportunities (careers & business

development);

the basics of financial planning for a business.
