Dear Hiring Professional:

Success is derived from serving other people. I believe it lies in one’s ability to merge the strategic, the creative and the tactical thereby building a strong and decisive team. This type of structure is where I’m most eective. Therefore, I am enclosing my resume outlining my qualications for your review and consider-ation.

As noted, I have served in various capacities enabling me to hone my Graphic Communications, Management and Leadership skills. The principles learned will be a positive inuence on my success in your rm. Throughout my career, I’ve experienced continued growth through self-learning and the pursuit of higher education. As a result, I have:

• Conceptualized various communications projects from planning through execution and completion; conducted executive presentations designed to establish the rm as the preferred ooring provider.

• Architected entire look of new company marketing materials, including PowerPoint presentations incorporating newly developed imagery.

• Authored development of custom invitations, greeting cards, and novelty ornaments, for in-house use as well as key clientele.

• Oversaw major projects; utilized outstanding leadership skills to encourage team to meet deadlines while exceeding expectations.

I am a dependable, trustworthy professional with an entrepreneurial spirit. This creates in me an attitude of enthusiasm to go above and beyond the call of duty and successfully complete the job at hand. Since I hold myself to extremely high standards and I pride myself in being ethical, a quality becoming increasingly scarce today, I require much more from my performance than any employer would expect. This means that those for whom I am employed will benet greatly from my services.

Therefore, if you could benet from someone who is willing to take ownership, please review the attached resume and feel free to contact me at your conve-nience so we can discuss ideas on how I can assist your organization in reaching its goals.

Sincerely,

Bruce M. Henry

e MAKING STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCERMarketing Campaign 2010

In this direct-mail campaign, a project created for a class in Advanced Computer Graphics Digital Design, I chose to target an organization that raises the awareness of Breast Cancer, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. For this I created an icon to get the word out about Self-Breast Exami-nation. This theme is carried throughout the campaign.

“New You 2010”, this was the theme for this marketing campaign for a national retail Chain, White House Black Market. This too was a class assignment. The concept was the design of an interactive catalog on CD to introduce the spring’s new line of women’s apparel. I designed the CD label, the insert, CD sleeve, tray back and a limited shopping bag for the event.

This is my personal brand identity; the mark, which is a part of the logo, is something I created several years ago. It has gone through several evolutions to get to this point and this one feels right. I wanted the design to be simplistic yet distinguishable

The client I created this corporate identity for was in need of a face-lift. He wanted to take this company to another level and get his current clients to take him more seriously while attracting new ones. A business card and stationary was created to give his company a more ocial look.

This point of purchase display is for the Oakley brand. The company carries a line of prescription eyewear. Everyone is familiar their logo but I still wanted it to be very much a part of the design. The idea was that it would be displayed in the upscale eyewear store so there had to be a level of quality to the display as there is with their merchandise.

“An Ode to Picasso-his surrealist period”, oil on wood panel -24x36”, 2007. This piece was created for a class assignment in my painting class, which we were asked to choose our favorite artist, period and/ or style to paint. Having been a fan of Picasso’s work and the surrealist movement I created this ode, which was a joy to paint.

Below, “Desire”, acrylic on illustration board -18”x24”, 1994. Created as a class in assignment in Color Theory in which I explored the psychological eect of color.
