“Ultimately, the secret of quality is love.…… If you have love, you can then work backward to monitor and improve the system”.

TACTIC: Large organisations don’t worship shareholders or customers, they worship the past. If it were otherwise it would take a crisis to set an organisation on a new

TACTIC: We need rebels!•The principal champion of an, cause or action
•Rebels don’t wait for permission to lead, innovate, strategise
•They are responsible; they do what is right•They name things that others don’t see yet
•They point to new horizons, work together
•Without rebels, the storyline never changes

In general terms, the more positive the experiences of staff within an NHS trust, the better the outcomes for that trust. Engagement has many significant associations with patient satisfaction, patient mortality, infection rates, Annual Health Check scores, as well as staff absenteeism and turnover. The more engaged staff members are, the better the outcomes for patients and the organisation generally.Source: Kings Fund – Employee Engagement and NHS Performance
How can we share staff engagement initiatives as a way of engaging with the wider community?
