Training will begin at 8: 00AM and end at 5:00PM each day with an hour for lunch. On Tuesday of each training week the training participants will visit a number of mental health and substance abuse treatment facilities. Transportation for these visits will be provided. On Friday afternoon of each training week there will be a graduation ceremony. Each law enforcement officer will receive a 40-Hour Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) PIC Course Approval (including 4 hours legal training & 2 hours Cultural Diversity). All participants will receive: 1.) A CIT Pin (designed to be worn on your uniform) 2.)
