088* REVISED ORDERS OF DRESS FOR THE ROYAL MARINES
1. The RN Uniform Review renumbered all naval orders of dress and identif ied the need for BR 81 (RN & RM Dres s Regulations), to be rewritten. The new numbers took effect on 1 April 1997 and BR 81 is now in the final stages of production.
2. The as sociated RM Uniform Review recommended that RM Orders of Dress should be renumbered to comply with their parent service I s numbering system as soon as possible. In recognition of that recommendation, and in advance of the pUblication of the new BR, the new dress tables are attached at Annex A to this RMRO. They are to take effect from 1 January 1998.
