HCL
HCL conducts walk in interviews for BPO recruitment. The recruitment process is conducted in stages :
1. It begins with an HR Round. The HR calls in 8 – 10 candidates and tests their communication
skills by making each of them speak on a question related to the candidate. Here along with the
communication skills, the HR also checks how much content the candidate has if he is asked to
speak on any topic.
2. In the 2nd round, the HR interviews each candidate individually. In this round, the interviewer
tries to know about the candidate, his educational and family background, and also tests his
confidence and comfort level.
3. The 3rd round is a Technical round. In this, a person from the Operations team interviews the
candidate. He is asked about his technical knowledge as the company tries to recruit the
candidate as a technical support advisor. If the person is not able to clear this round, then the
company tries to recruit him in the backend process.
4. The 4th and final round is again an HR round, where the HR discusses the salary and other things
related to job with the employee (eg. Number of working hours in a day and week, facilities that
will be provided to him etc.)
