A. I’m not too fussed about meeting famous people. Chances are they won’t re-member me or anything of the time we met. I’d like to meet God that way I know I’m in heaven.

A.Anything spontaneous and out of the ordinary. Can-dlelit dinners are so cli-che and boring.

We have a toddlers group (ages 2-5) & a primary school program called HK (Prep - Grade 7). We are sure your child will have an exiting time.

HK check-in starts at 9.10AM So come a little early to get your kids settled before the main service begins at 9.30AM. The HK program is held in the building across the car-park. Toddlers will be released during the service. The toddlers room is located off the hallway near the toilets.

We also conducted church planter training in Anu-radhapura in the AOG Central North Region. About 25 attended the training, the second one we have done there. The Regional Leader, Pastor Jeff and his church have been under severe persecution in this area. We will be sponsoring 10 new church planters in this region for the next 18 months.

Robyn had to return to Australia from Anradhapu-ra after receiving word that her 91 year-old father had a suspected minor stroke. He is in a retirement home in Townsville. He has recovered well and it seems that there was minimal deterioration in his overall condition. He has recently been moved into the high care section of the home.

Peter continued on in Sri Lanka for the next 5 weeks, ministering in churches in Colombo and doing a second church planter training in the AOG Central Region at Ratnapura with Pastor Joel Pere-ra. About 42 attended this training, and we will be sponsoring ten new churches in this region for the next 18 months.

Pastor Greg Taylor from Townsville City Church has just concluded two weeks of ministry with a team from his church in Townsville. Greg and his church are sponsoring an annual regional youth camp in the Central Region for five years. Currently, our son Ben is in Sri Lanka speaking at that camp.

For the next six weeks, we will be visiting a number of our sponsoring churches before returning to Sri-Lanka for the month of June.

We have recently returned from a very fruitful two months in Sri Lanka.

We arrived there in late January and went immediately to Batticaloa on the east Coast. There is now a weekly commercial flight to the area, which cuts our travel time from about 9 hours to 1 hour. During the first week there, we trained a group of young Church Planters. They have each been assigned a village where they are encouraged to build relationships with the people, serve them in practical ways, and eventually plant a house church. During this time we went separate ways for a few days. Peter spent time training leaders in one of the local churches in small group dynamics while Robyn spent 2 days ministering at the ar-eas first prophetic conference.

Speaking of House Churches, there are some wonderful developments taking place. A young man called Sudesh, who was in our church planters training classes about 5 years ago, has joined forces with another 9 pastors, and together they are exploring the House Church method of church planting. They have planted 90 House Churches in the last 2 years. The House Church model works well because it is inexpensive and attracts less persecution.

Please keep, Sarah Biddle, in your prayers as she continues to reach people with the gospel in the Phillipines. She is returning to Manila in May and will be partnering with Destiny Rescue help-ing to save children from sexual slavery. With her time over in the Philippines she has had the privellage to minister at a Jail where she had the opportunity to bring freedom and hope to those in hopeless situations.
