Thanks to an ultra strong stabilizer frame, HARSH SU gears keep chassis and body rigidly in line. In turn, this provides levels of stability that no other tipping gear even gets close to. Tested to 12 degrees of Ground Tilt is all the proof you need.

HARSH Compact Underfloor tipping cylinders are offered to suit more specialist chassis and body specifications for particular customer applications.

Tipper grabs and crane vehicles are the obvious examples.

Often known as ‘pot rams’, HARSH CU gears take up minimal space and are therefore easy to fit in a variety of forward / aft locations between chassis rails and crossmembers. Fast acting and safely tucked away, CU gears also need next to no maintenance.

Our skiploaders and hooklifts operate the length and breadth of the UK doing the hardest jobs that any trucks have to tackle.

HARSH skiploaders cover the full 7.5 to 26 tonnes gvw spectrum. Fast lift-off and the longest reach independent telescopic arms make skip handling easier and safer than ever. They are strong, ruggedly built and powerful - providing a 14 tonnes lift capacity at 18 tonnes gvw and an 18 tonnes lift capacity for 6x2 and 6x4 chassis.

HARSH is a family owned business. In the USA, the ultimate home of HARSH, the man in charge is a third generation Mr Harsh, called Bob.

Here in the UK, HARSH is also a family owned company, run by its directors Grant, Carl and Adam.

Ever since HARSH UK started off in the 1980’s, we’ve put max emphasis on building relationships. Understanding our customers’ businesses. Listening, looking, learning. And understanding our customers as individuals, as themselves.
