Egg Nog Pie
Ingredients 2 Cups Pecan Sandies Cookie Crumbs 1/3 Cup Butter or Margarine, Melted 1/2 Cup Semisweet Chocolate Morsels 2 1/4 Cups Whipping Cream 1/3 Cup Sugar 1/2 Cup Bourbon or Rum 1/2 Teaspoon Freshly Grated Nutmeg 1 Envelope unflavored Gelatin 1/4 Cup cold water 6 Egg Yolks, lightly beaten 1 Tablespoon Butter or Margarine Freshly Grated Nutmeg Powdered Sugar Unsweetened Whipped Cream (optional)
Yield: 1 (9") Pie
Method Stir together cookie crumbs and 1/3 cup melted butter; press firmly into a greased 9" deep-dish pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Remove crust from oven, and sprinkle chocolate morsels into warm crust. Let stand until morsels melt; spread chocolate over bottom of crust with a spatula. Set aside. Stir together whipping cream and next three ingredients in top of a double boiler; bring water just to a simmer. Cook over simmering water 15 minutes or until sugar dissolves and mixture is thoroughly heated. Meanwhile, sprinkle gelatin over cold water in a small bowl; let stand 1 minute. Gradually whisk about one-fourth of warm cream mixture into egg yolks. Add to remaining warm cream, whisking constantly. Whisk in softened gelatin. Cook over hot (not boiling) water 3 to 5 minutes or until gelatin dissolves and custard reaches 160 degrees. Remove from heat; add 1 tablespoon butter, stirring gently until butter melts. Cool filling to room temperature. Pour filling into prepared crust. Gently cover with plastic wrap, pressing directly on surface of filling. Chill pie at least 4 hours or until firm.

Patriot Cup Results Congratulations to the Redcoats as they keep their winning streak alive! The Redcoats have won every Patriot Cup since 2008 with the Bluecoats winning only two Patriot Cup Revenge tournaments in 2010 and 2011. The Patriot Cup is a match play event using Texas Scramble, Best Ball, Captain’s Choice and Individual formats. The Bluecoats jumped off to an early lead after the first round winning 46 points to the Redcoats 44 points. Their lead was extended when they finished the second round with 51 points to the Redcoats 39 points. The fourteen point lead was maintained in the third round when they both scored 45 points. It was fourth round that turned things around for the Redcoats. The final round matched up all 18 players from each side so there was a possible 180 points up for grabs. The Redcoats won 106 of the 180 points to solidify an improbable comeback.

course rules and regulations.
To assist in all areas relating to the USGA handicapping system.
