State Annual Conference of Indian Academy of Pediatrics,

“Odisha State Pedicon 2016”, being organized at Kalinga

Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Bhubaneswar,

Odisha from 19th to 20th November 2016.

This year we are eagerly waiting to welcome you to the

City of Temples, specially the beautiful ambience of KIIT

University campus. Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences

(KISS), a pioneering institution to change lives of tribal

children through free education from KG to PG, and the

architectural marvel of the University campuses are

special attractions here. A replica of Puri Jagannath

Temple is located at the entry point of KISS where all the

rituals of Puri are followed religiously. Please make time to

visit KISS and witness the wonderful art, science,

vocational departments and many more to be seen to

believe.

The Golden Triangle of Bhubaneswar, Puri and Konark

speaks of dreams that are stitched with reality for those

who are fascinated by history. The cultural heritage of

Odisha beautifully comes out in handicrafts, amazing

folklores and traditional songs and dances like Odissi.

The scientific bonanza includes pre-conference workshop

on pediatric emergencies.
