Cancellous Bone is the spongy interior layer of bone, also known as trabecular bone

due to its type and structure.

It is highly osteoconductive and is very well suited to ll a defect in a bony structure.

In addition, it is a strong bone graft material that can provide structural support. It is

readily remodeled by the human body and is replaced by new host bone.

Cortical Bone is the compact type of bone tissue. It's main functions are supporting

the body, protecting vital organs, providing levers for movement, and storing

minerals especially calcium.

It is the outer most layer of bones and has a much higher density. Therefore, it is

widely used to repair bone fracture.

membrane technique

SureDerm® is Acellular Dermal Matrix which maintains the 3D structure of the dermis layer, to help treat and restore gingiva's defect safely and eectively.

Similar to autograft it becomes patient's tissue through cell and blood vessels regeneration.

Used for reconstruction of gingiva as well as a membraneSureDerm becomes a part of the patient's natural tissue and is eciently engrafted.Due to its antigenicity properties, there is no rejection response (inammation)There is no need for skin test because an antigen response does not occurIt is biocompatible, elastic, durable, and less contractive as it maintains 3D structureAll reconstructions are completed in one operationNo vesicles or cysts after graftingNo discomfort after engraftment is completed

If hydrated with patient's blood

1. Hydration: Place SureDerm in normal saline for 10 minutes and remove the backing paper with forceps.

2. Excise the keratinized border of the gingiva
