Project Connectivity

Time to revel for those who have invested in North Bangalore. Wipro, Hebbal has already started work on the land. The Karnataka government will also pitch forth its aerospace policy. Many companies are also looking at the development of the 10,000 acre area, which is being called the Information Technology Investment Region (ITIR). The aerospace policy also includes an Aerospace University, which will be the rst of its kind in the country.

Work is going on to acquire more land, which in the rst phase, has been approved for development. The Aerospace University will also include sup-port from the Centre and aerospace companies in the State and the City. Land is being acquired in installments and the project would be completed in four phases. This has in turn appreciated the land rates in the area and increased the employment rate.

Villas vs. Apartments – Which one of the two should you buy?

So, you have decided to buy a property but still not sure whether you should invest in a villa or an apartment? Purchasing a home is an investment of a lifetime, and you should carefully consider all pros and cons before putting your money. Here are a few factors you should look into while deciding on a home for yourself.

Cost No prizes for guessing that the most important criterion that inuences the decision of any homebuyer is the budget. Villas cost more than apartments. They are usually costlier than even the high-end luxury apartments. Moreover, the monthly mainte-nance cost of villas is higher than apartments. So, before taking the plunge, carefully consider the long-term costs involved in each kind of property.

Purpose of buying What kind of house you want to buy depends on why you want to purchase proper-ty? Do you want to live there, or want it as an investment? Generally, as apartments are cheaper than villas, they are easier to sell in the future. Again, if you intend to rent out your property, apartments are a better bet.

Space requirementsFamily size is an important factor while choosing a home. Invest in a home that meets your present and future space requirements. Usually, bigger families prefer villas and nuclear families opt for apartments. You may also have a preference of either living in a large airy home or a small comfortable space. Make a decision on what your long-term living preferences are.

Liberty to make modications Villas give you more freedom to make changes of the external layout than apart-ments. Apartments only facilitate internal modications. So, if you are one of those who love to give their homes a unique personal touch, villas might be a better choice.

Location preferenceA majority of villa complexes are located in the suburbs and hence not a practical choice for working couples who have their oces in the city. However, you will nd many apartments located at the heart of the city and near oce hubs.

These are but a few pointers to help you make a more informed choice. The choice of a house depends on individual needs and preferences. Many builders today oer villas and apartment complexes with a plethora of amenities. Golden Gate Proper-ties, a leading real estate developer in Bangalore has come up with several villa and apartment projects in dierent parts of the city. Explore its projects; who knows you might nd your dream home in one of them.
