Transcript of Handmade in Vernon Center Maker Fair Registration Pack
Hello Maker-
Thank you for your interest in participating in the Handmade in Vernon Center Maker Fair. This event is
your opportunity to showcase your handmade goods‐ arts, crafts, baking & foods, photography, music,
knitting, crochet, sewing, needlepoint, woodwork, pottery, health and beauty products…anything you
hand make! Our aim is to host a fall sales event for a variety of handmade only items created by local
makers in the Vernon Center area. The Maker Fair will be:
Date‐ Saturday October 13, 2012
Time‐ 9:00am ‐ 2:00pm
Location‐ Vernon Center Fire Hall Training Room
Space & Set Up‐ There is limited space at the event. Please provide a description of all Maker goods you
intend to sell on the Fair Registration Form. Organizers reserve the right to limit vendor participation in
order to have a variety of goods at the Fair. Each registered Maker will be provided one 8’ x 2.5’ table
and two chairs. You will need to provide your own table displays. Electrical outlets are limited. Please
bring your own extension cord/power strip. Makers can set up their displays 6:30 ‐ 8:45am the day of
the Fair. The sale will begin at 9:00am and all vendors are to stay until the end of the event at 2:00pm.
Registration & Fee‐ All interested Makers must submit a Registration Form and pay a $10.00 fee via
check made payable to Patricia Krosch or use PayPal online to pay with a credit card to email address
[email protected] by Saturday September 29, 2012. Non‐refundable registration fees will
support publicity for the event. In addition, all Makers must complete a ST‐19 Tax Form or submit a Tax
Exemption Letter. Fully registered Makers will receive a registration confirmation, set up details and
reminders, and Handmade in Vernon Center Maker Fair posters after the registration deadline by email
or by mail. Table assignments will be given when you check into the Fair the day of the event.
Tax Status‐ In order to comply with Minnesota State Sales Tax Regulations for events of this nature,
