Wow, another decade has ended and a new one begins. Let us recap some of the memorable moments that happened in the past decade in the world. The first iPad came out; the royal wedding between Prince William and Catherine Middleton; Linsanity took the world by storm (Jeremy Lin was the backup guard for the New York Knicks), he had a seven game winning streak in 2011-2012; December 21, 2012 was the end of Mayan calendar some people thought the world would end; everyone learned “The Cup Song”, from Perfect Pitch; in 2014 the first airplane went missing for many years until it was discovered; in 2014 many did the ice bucket challenge; in 2016 Leonardo DiCaprio finally won an Oscar; in 2016, the world went crazy over Pokémon Go; in 2017 for the Women’s March over 5 million people marched in over 600 marches; in 2017 we experienced a total solar eclipse; in 2017, the Me Too movement took place; in 2018 there was a false missile warning in Hawaii; in 2018 there was another royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle; in 2019 the most diverse class of lawmakers in history was sworn into Congress and we got our first picture of the black-hole. What will happen in this next decade? The truth of the matter, only God knows what will occur in the world and we need to trust our past, present and our future into the hands of God. As the scripture reminds in Job 12:10, In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.” Everything that happens to us, God is in control. “What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.” (Ecclesiastes 1:9) God does have the whole world in his hands. Sometimes we tend to forget this major truth. We are constantly living in the present and the future, what we do with our lives will make a lasting impact in our world. Let us not focus on our past especially when life hurts the most, but on our present. The good news is that God makes all things new, Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:18-19. God makes us new creatures in Christ Jesus to help us to create a lasting legacy that can greatly affect the lives of others. What legacy do you want to leave that others will remember about you even after you have gone on to glory? God knows our future, let us leave a memorable impact, one that reflects the love of Jesus Christ. Wow, another decade has ended and a new one begins. Let us recap some of the memorable moments that happened in the past decade in the world. The first iPad came out; the royal wedding between Prince William and Catherine Middleton; Linsanity took the world by storm (Jeremy Lin was the backup guard for the New York Knicks), he had a seven game winning streak in 2011-2012; December 21, 2012 was the end of Mayan calendar some people thought the world would end; everyone learned “The Cup Song”, from Perfect Pitch; in 2014 the first airplane went missing for many years until it was discovered; in 2014 many did the ice bucket challenge; in 2016 Leonardo DiCaprio finally won an Oscar; in 2016, the world went crazy over Pokémon Go; in 2017 for the Women’s March over 5 million people marched in over 600 marches; in 2017 we experienced a total solar eclipse; in 2017, the Me Too movement took place; in 2018 there was a false missile warning in Hawaii; in 2018 there was another royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle; in 2019the most diverse class of lawmakers in history was sworn into Congress and we got our first picture of the black-hole.

What will happen in this next decade? The truth of the matter, only God knows what will occurin the world and we need to trust our past, present and our future into the hands of God. As the scripture reminds in Job 12:10, “In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.” Everything that happens to us, God is in control. “What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.” (Ecclesiastes 1:9)

God does have the whole world in his hands. Sometimes we tend to forget this major truth.

We are constantly living in the present and the future, what we do with our lives will make a lasting impact in our world. Let us not focus on our past especially when life hurts the most, but on our present. The good news is that God makes all thingsnew, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:18-19.

God makes us new creatures in Christ Jesus

to leave that others will remember about you even

after you have gone on to glory? God knows our

future, let us leave a memorable impact, one that
