HONORING TRAILBLAZERS OF THE FIRE SERVICE BRUNCH

The Professional Firefighters Association of South Florida (PFASF), Inc. 501(c)

(3), is proud to recognize outstanding pioneers who opened the doors to

increase diversity in the fire service over the past 40 years. These public

servants were courageous in standing up for the right to be treated as equals

in the fire service community of South Florida.

Today we honor the legacy of these brave men and women, and show respect

to those who paved the way and upon whose shoulders we stand. For the first

time in the history of South Florida, we are acknowledging the trailblazers

of the fire service profession who continue to promote diversity and inclusion.

The Professional Firefighters Association of South Florida, Inc. (PFASF)

is committed to promoting careers within the fire service, providing life skills and

fire safety classes through community outreach initiatives. To date the

PFASF, has hosted over 300 community orientations within Broward, Miami-

Dade and Palm Beach Counties. Please visit our website,

Thanks to the assistance of our partner, American Ambulance Services Inc.,

we have provided approximately 20 scholarships for young men and women to

attend Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) School. Our goal is to

increase opportunities for anyone interested in pursuing a career in the

fire services profession. As an organization we strive to continue creating a

proud legacy for all those who serve as first responders.

In continuing to support the legacy, we ask for your support by becoming one of

our esteemed partners of the “Honoring Trailblazers of the Fire Service Brunch”.

providing scholarships and mentoring to future firefighters, as well as to
