o Out team is focused on the slab foundations which have to be ready before the volunteers arrive the first week of June.

o Each house has a 1610 sf concrete slab foundation

o Approximately 20 cubic yards of concrete for each foundation and another 5 cu yd for the footings.

Foundations are more than Concrete

o Other materials include o rebar, o concrete blocks, o concrete wire, o anchor bolts,o plastic sheeting,o and more. . .

Don’t forget the plumbing

o Each foundation will have to be “roughed in” with plumbing prior to the concrete being poured.

o We have estimated the cost at $9,500.00 for each foundation
