Guido von List, 1913.

Guido Karl Anton List, conocido como Guido vonList (5 de octubre de 1848 – 17 de mayo de 1919) fueun periodista, escritor y empresario germano-austriaco(vienés), conocido por sus obras ocultistas y del movi-miento völkisch y por ser una de las figuras más impor-tantes del resurgimiento del neopaganismo germánico yla magia rúnica en el final del siglo XIX y principios delXX. También destacó por sus ideas antisemitas y sus en-sayos sobre la raza aria siendo uno de los teóricos de laariosofía.Su obra más conocida es Das Geheimnis der Runen (Lossecretos de las runas), un detallado ensayo sobre la adivi-nación usando las runas Armanen, que él mismo ideó, fuerealizada entre 1902 y 1908, cuyas ideas desarrollará ensu obra posterior. Por ello es considerado en el ocultismouno de los pioneros de la runología.
