Registration
• The students are advised to register themselves on
Amizone as per the following deadlines.
• The students, who will proceed for summer internship
without having registered will be declared “fail” in
summer internship. Also such students will not be
allowed to register for Semester III.

• Logon to your Amizone
• Click on Summer internship Link
• Summer internship format needs to be filled and printed.
Registration in CRC
• The Amizone printout duly filled needs to submitted.
• Meet your CRC facilitator
Reporting
• The student must meet the Faculty guide before proceeding to internship
• The weekly reports need to be submitted online on Amizone every Monday.
• Mail of WPR and Project diary needs to be sent to your faculty guide every Monday

• During the entire summer internship, students are
required to work with two guides.

Faculty Guides
• The faculty guides shall be allotted by Amity Business
School .
• Regular interactions between the faculty guide and the
students is necessary.
• Students are advised to arrange a meeting wherein the
faculty guide and industry guide can interact and help
the students to deliver good results.
• Students must ensure timely submission of WPR’s and
Project diary.

Interaction With Industry Guide
• The students are allotted Industry guide by theorganization at the time of reporting in the company hiscontact details should be communicated to faculty guide.
• The students should invite the industry experts forSeminars, group discussion and other activities orevents held in ABS from time to time.
• The students must gather the information about the keyfunctionaries of the organization to be used for sendinginvites for various events.
• At the end of the internship, the faculty guide will seekthe industry guide„s critical comments on reportssubmitted by the student with a view to receive themuch-needed feedback on the student„s work.

Summer Internship Assignments
• The Summer Internship Projects are allotted by Industry
which needs to be discussed with your Faculty Guide.
• If the project fulfills the academic requirement then the
report will be based on the same.
– However, if the academic requirements are not
fulfilled, the Faculty Guide will give an additional
project to cover the same. (In this case there will be
two separate reports. One for the Industry and the
other for your academic evaluation).

Attendance
• The students are required to follow the timings of the
organization and attend to their work daily.
• They should observe all the rules and regulations, which are
applicable to the Summer Interns of the organization.
• Students Attendance would be monitored through the Project
diary maintained on Daily Basis and weekly reports sent to
the Faculty Guide.
• Students are expected not to take any leave during SI in case
of any unavoidable circumstances leave must be sanctioned
both by Industry guide and faculty guide.
• Students should remember at all times that they are
representing Amity Business School and conduct themselves
in a dignified and professional manner.

Assessment And Grading
Assessment Scheme
• There are three components of assessment; – Continuous Evaluation,
– Industry Evaluation
– Final Evaluation.

Continuous Evaluation by Faculty Guide
• The continuous evaluation by the faculty guide will
depend upon:
– The synopsis (see Appendix B),
– Weekly progress report and project diary (see Appendix C).

Project Diary (See Appendix C):
• Other than mails and telephonic calls to the Industryguide, the project diary shall be the tool for the facultyguide to have regular feedback from the student abouthis industry performance.
• Writing a diary has to be a daily affair.
• It may include the students own thought processes andreasoning. The faculty guide will check and sign thediary periodically.
• The project diary is an important parameter in decidingthe continuous evaluation marks.

Continuous Evaluation by CRC
• The continuous evaluation by CRC will depend uponsynopsis, Pre Placement Offer (PPO) and interactionwith CRC (see Appendix F).
• In the synopsis the student is required to submitvalidated information of the industry guide and HRPersonnel.
• A CRC member will be allotted to every student tofacilitate this process and to verify and validate theinformation given by the student in the synopsis.

Industry Evaluation and Feedback
• Every Industry guide will be requested by the facultyguide to evaluate the student as objectively as possible,comparing him/her with other students of comparableacademic level, personnel with similar experience andjob assignments, or professional standards for theposition.
• The industry guide will also be requested to offer his/herobservations on the student„s potential and performancealong with information on the kinds of work he/she didand the experiences he/she encountered duringinternship (see Appendix D).

Final Evaluation
• The final evaluation of the student will depend upon theproject report submitted at Amity Business School.
• It is mandatory for every student to submit summerinternship project report at Amity Business School underthe guidance of the faculty guide allotted to him/her.

Viva and Presentation to Viva Voce Board
• Every student has to face two boards viz. Pre-Submission Board and Final Viva Voce Board.
• The Pre Submission board may like to give somesuggestions for the improvement of the report; howeverthe final decision to implement those improvementssolely lies with the faculty guide.
• The final viva voce board will see the presentation andwill conduct viva voce of the student.

The assessment scheme used will judge the students on various characteristics;
– Knowledge & Application of concepts,
– Intellectual ability,
– Creativity and originality,
– Professional judgment and decision making ability,
– Interdisciplinary approach,
– Skills for data handling,
– Initiative,
– Co-operation,
– Leadership.

Final Grading
• At the end of internship program, all the marks obtainedby a student on various evaluation componentsdescribed above will be added. It will give the total marksearned by the student out of 100 marks.
• It is to be borne in mind that the entire responsibilityof ensuring timely submissions for evaluation restswith the students.
• The summer internship has a weightage of 9 creditunits.

Student Grievance
• In case a student has some grievance during any stage
of summer internship, he/she can write to Director, Amity
Business School in prescribed format for registering
student grievance
• (see Appendix G)
• All the Grievance received would be referred to a
“Grievance committee” for recommendation .
