Founded in Amsterdam. Made in Peru. The items of GUAPACA arose from the need for honest pure products. For craftsmanship and tradition. Back to basics. Our collection is made of the incredible soft baby alpaca wool. Discovered after a trip to Peru to climb the Machu Picchu via Inca trail. Love for craftsmanship. Working only with producers who collect the most beautiful wool from farmers in the Andes Mountains of Peru. The baby alpaca wool is woven into the finest soft scarves, ponchos and throws. This way traditional Peruvian handicraft families are supported and this beautiful ancient Peruvian tradition of weaving will not be lost. Woven and knitted fair trade fashion & Living.
