%----------%| STRATEGY |%----------% After the scene, run over or neckstap only 3 soldiers (walk up behind someone,target them with R1, get up close, and press /\ twice quickly) walking aroundwith M16's. Don't kill more than 3 or else you will get shot at! After killingthem, take their weapons. Head out the gate and turn right. Follow the road butbefore the tunnel, drift left onto the dark asphalt and ramp to the next roadsloping up. At the end, go right and into the marker.

After the next scene, ignor the gunners and tap X while going forward toquickly swim to shore. Do not worry about getting shot, because for thismission only, bullets will not hurt yoU! Also, you will see a blue bar appearin the upper right corner above your health bar. This stands for your stamina,and once it runs out, you will drown, so hurry!

You will automatically be equiped with a pistol. Head back to Fort Baxter andinto the large pink marker. You will be told to go into the blue arrow whichyou must do. Inside, you'll be given a quick tutorial about saving and weaponpickups.

You're choice though. ^_^ || || As for the directions, I will only list turn by turn directions when I am ||leading you to Items/Pickups or when I know of a short cut during a mission. ||Other than that, I will just tell you to go to the dot shown on your in-game ||map (hereafter referred to as "MAP"). || || In the beginning of the game, while you are only allowed to be on the left, ||or Mainland island, your wanted level can only go to 3. || Level 1 - Is nothing to be scared about. A cop may chase you, but after a ||while it will go away. || Level 2 - Cops will appear more aggressively in cars. The only way to get ||rid of them, along with the higher levels, is to get a Bribe, visit a Pay 'n'||Spray, or finish a mission. || Level 3 - A police helicopter will appear and eventually try to gun you ||down. ########----------------------------------------------------------------------.# NOTE # - 99 Red Balloons & Pickups (And Percentage?) |######## || High throughout the city are 99 red balloons that you must pop with a bullet||and each will give you $250. Every 10 you pop (with the exception for the ||last one being 9), you will unlock a new respawnable weapon at your main ||story safe houses. 45 can be popped at this time. || || As said above, since these are items you will collect (or in this case pop),||I will give detail directions to each one, and along the way tell you which ||weapon would be best to pick up if it's stronger than the one you may have. ||If you had somehow lost the weapon you should have (probably by death or ||being busted), then you can pick up whatever you see first or go back to the ||previous weapon pickups I mention in my guide. || || For some odd reason, when I had done the recording of this section, I ended ||up with 2.5%, but the couple of times when I did practice runs, I got 2.9%. ||I went back and re-ran the entire balloon section (not recording) and once ||again got 2.5%. I have no idea why this is happened, but eventually it ||corrected itself after the stunt jumps. |`-----------------------------------------------------------------------------'

&&&&&&&&----------------------------------------------------------------------.& TIPS & - Police, Directions, and Map Tips |&&&&&&&& || Since you will have to shoot the balloons, you can attract police attention.||Since you will be on foot or bike and if you're afraid of getting busted, I ||suggest you pause your game (START), go into your map (X), and set the target||([]) directly where you're at. After, unpause and get either a bribe or go to||the nearest Pay 'n' Spray to lose your wanted level. || || I do not explain my directions via map coordinates. Some of you may not have||the same map or may have lost the one that the game gave you. That is why I ||get detailed and step by step. Even if you do have a map that even shows all ||the locations of the balloons, at least you could have a general idea by ||looking at the map of where the next balloon is I'm explaining. || || Remember you still have your in-game map. If you are unsure of which ||balloons you have popped, pause your game, go into your map section, and hold||down X. You'll see it says "Show Discovered Extras: Off." You can move the ||Left Stick left or right to show which Balloons, Jumps, and Rampages you have||found and completed so far. |`-----------------------------------------------------------------------------'

Grab the Pistol ahead of you, equip your M16, and save, and head back out.Outside from your barracks door, do a 180 to your right and head south to thewall. Turn left and manual aim (hold L3, then click and hold R3) underneath theguard tower. The first baloon should be there.

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: !!!!!!!!!! BALLOON 2 - FORT BAXTER AIR BASE ! PICKUP ! - HEALTH:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: !!!!!!!!!! At the guard tower, follow the wall north. Just past the building on your leftwill be a Health pickup. Get it if you need it, then continue north towardsJerry's marker, but don't go in! Beside his building will be the Streetfighteryou go on at the beginning. Get on it again (!make sure you keep it!) and headsouthwest to the end of the big orange building with the garage doors justbefore the gate. Aim north at the top of the building with the three satellitedishes. In the middle will be a tower with white circles on it. [I don't knowany of the proper terms so shush!] Under the circle facing you should be theballoon. Always remember to get back on/in your vehicle to make things quicker.

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: BALLOON 3 - ESCOBAR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Back out the front gate, head right and once again drift left onto the blackasphalt before the tunnel. Don't ramp off this time but instead get out and aimhigh under the top overhang of the building to your left. The balloon is justnorth of the corner.

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: !!!!!!!!!! BALLOON 4 - ESCOBAR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ! PICKUP ! - ARMOR::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: !!!!!!!!!! Head east staying on the asphalt and then south at the bridge to the end. Makea left, take the first right, then left again, and finally your first rightagain to the front of the main airport terminal. Get out and through the firstdoors you come to. (Note that your weapons will be stripped of you for now.)Inside, head upstairs and into Gate 14 (west gate). At the end will be yourfirst Armor pickup. After, look for a security guard (they wear dark blueclothes with white verticle stripes and a cap). Defeat one and take his Pistol.Now directly in front of the east doors, look underneath the stairs for thenext balloon. (Note that other nearby security guards will shoot you after youfire. I would ignore them so as not to attract any wanted attention.)

:::::::::::::::::::::::::;::::::::::::::::: BALLOON 5 - ESCOBAR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Back out the doors you came in from, get back your weapons and into yourvehicle. Follow the building around east and go through the fence opening,onto the black tarmac. Now drift left going southeast to the end of an angledrunway. At the northeast tip will be a couple of ramps. The red balloon isunder the higher one.

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: BALLOON 6 - ESCOBAR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Go directly south until you pass the next gate opening to your left (just passit; don't go out). The balloon is in the far corner underneath the roof that isattached to the building directly in front of you.

:::::::::::::::::::::: BALLOON 7 - VICEPORT:::::::::::::::::::::: Now head out the gate you just passed and onto the road.

Go north to the end, then east. Stop before you reach the driveway to thehotel and aim up at the first palm tree just west of the driveway. The balloonis there in the leaves.

:::::::::::::::::::::: !!!!!!!!!! BALLOON 8 - VICEPORT ! PICKUP ! - HEALTH:::::::::::::::::::::: !!!!!!!!!! (This is one you need a motorcycle for and why I said to keep Jerry's.)Continue to the four-way intersection and turn south. Before the road curveseast, head through the opening to your left and go across the lot. Eventuallyyou'll come to the Health pickup next to the building. At the end of the lotbut right before the road, turn left & drive up the stairs on your motorcycle.When you get to the top facing west, you'll see in the distance a small woodenramp. Speed up (tilt the Left Stick slightly forward so Vic can get closer tohis bike, thuse causing it to go quicker) and hit the ramp. Land on the roofacross the street to acomplish the jump.

########----------------------------------------------------------------------.# NOTE # - Unique Jumping |######## || The ramp you just went on is also a Unique Jump which is required for 100%. ||More detail will be explained later about these but if you're using the 100% ||checklist, go ahead and mark off the first jump. Pass the firstroad and go to the last house on your left before the second road. Through thearch opening and straight ahead in the porch area is the balloon.

Aim up and the overhang in thesoutheast corner of the mansion and the ballon is there. Go around the orangewall and up the stairs to the top area and in the center along the edge will bea Mac gun. (Ifound the bat to be about the same strength as the axe, so you can take the bator keep the axe. Whatever you like.) Go back east out of the Stadium area andat the road go south. Take the first road left to the front of the hospital andgo up the small stairs right beside the Health pickup to the door in the backof the central area. You'll end up on the helipad of the hospital, so do a 180to your left facing east and you'll see a single palm tree. Aim in the leavesfor the next balloon.

When you getclose to the firestation, look right and you'll see an opening in the fence(northeast side of the station). ============= STRATEGY ============= The time won't start until you pass through the first corona. Straight aheadyou'll see one but don't go to it just yet. Instead, go to the south side of it(your left) and turn facing north. You'll see a corona to your right betweenthe houses/garages and a corona to your left that's a bit higher. The higherone is what you'll be going for.

=Going north, pass through Corona 1 that you saw from the beginning.

After passing about three or fourlines in the walkway, do a 180 facing south. Remember the cement ramp youlanded on from the Playground side-mission? Well we'll be ramping up in thistime. Speed south towards the ramp (yes, you will need to lean forward thistime) and lean slightly right so when you ramp, you won't land in the water!Land in the grass on the other side to complete the jump.

::::::::::::::::::: JUMP 2 - VICEPORT::::::::::::::::::: Go to the road but stay on the east side. Speed south along the sidewalk andyou'll quickly see a large cargo ship to your left. Just as soon as you'll seethe ship, you'll see a small boat on land in the grass between some palm trees.On this boat is a small wooden ramp leading to the ship. Drift left whilespeeding (lean forward), do the ramp, and try to land on the deck of the ship.

Know that there have been playthroughs where I didn't actually land on thedeck, but right at the wall of the ship and I still made the jump.

::::::::::::::::::: JUMP 3 - VICEPORT::::::::::::::::::: Drive off the ship between the life boats and the blue railing and back to theroad. Straight ahead between the split roads on the light colored ground willbe some red containers. At the middle containers will be a big ramp facingnorth. Go south on the road you're at until it curves. Keep going south off thecurve and to the south building's wall. Do a 180 and speed (lean forward theentire way) up the road and drift left to the ramp. You have to clear the whitecorner building just ahead and land on the other side.

::::::::::::::::::: JUMP 4 - VICEPORT::::::::::::::::::: (This one was used to get Red Balloon 8. It is, however, required you do itagain because the next Jump will be on the roof you land on.) Do a 180 and goback south but on the western split this time. Go up the stairs on the lastbuilding to your right before you reach the end. At the top, speed up (don'tneed to lean forward) heading west and ramp across the street and onto the roofon the other side.

::::::::::::::::::: JUMP 5 - VICEPORT::::::::::::::::::: On the roof, go to the southern edge and then do a 180 facing north. You'llsee another wooden ramp. You must lean forward the entire way and ramp over thebuilding ahead to land in the grass next to the Hotel.

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: JUMP 6 - ESCOBAR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Go north to the road and head west. Take the first road left and go down tothe edge of the dock. Do a 180 facing north and with the building on your left,look for a stairway that leads to its roof. At the top, turn left and go to thesouth edge. 180 again and you'll see the ramp ahead. (Actually, the game maynot let it load until you get closer. At least check to see where it's at, thenhead to the southern edge.) At the very edge (and I mean very edge), lean downthe entire way and speed to the ramp. You will need to land either on the nextroof ahead or on the road beside the building.

If you landed on the building,then just drop of left and onto the airport gound.) Now head northwest to wherethe terminal building is to your right. If you continue going northwest, you'llsee a blue, white, and red plane north of the control towers and parked by thenorthern fence. Just to the east of this plane is a small set of stairs facingnorthwest towards the plane. You have to ramp the stairs going over the plane.As you can see, you have plenty of room to speed up (go ahead and lean forwardtoo).

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: JUMP 8 - ESCOBAR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Now head back east and go out the opening in the fence just to the east sideof the terminal building. Head north across the grass and drift left into theother opening ahead. Go on the short curved road inside the fence and look toyour right. You'll see a small set of stairs facing southeast which are theones you have to ramp. Start back quite a ways (maybe even to the northwestwall), lean forward, and ramp the stairs. You have to jump over the wall withthe barbwire, across the street, over the chain link fence, and onto the grassor dirt ahead.

:::::::::::::::::::::::: JUMP 9 - LITTLE HAVANA:::::::::::::::::::::::: See the tall pile of dirt in your vacinity? Go to the north side of this pileand you'll see is slopes down to the north, thus making this pile your nextjump! Follow the slope north onto the paved land and do a 180 and the woodenbridge to your left. Leaning forward, speed up and ramp the pile. You need toland on the inclining road just ahead.

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: JUMP 10 - LITTLE HAVANA (PS2 Only):::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Follow the road you landed on to the end and go left towards Sunshine Autos.At the car dealership, make another left going north and then a right. Lookingleft, you'll see the alley you had gone into for Balloon 14. (Know that thereis a Sanches motorcycle parked at the end.) Drive through the alley (forget theMac because now you have the Scorpion) to the north road and do a 180 facingsouth. You'll have to lean forward and speed up through the alley, across thestreet, up a small wooden ramp between a couple of buildings, and land in theback of the auto lot.

:::::::::::::::::::::::: !!!!!!!!!! JUMP 11 - LITTLE HAITI ! PICKUP ! - ARMOR:::::::::::::::::::::::: !!!!!!!!!! Head back out to the west road and then north. At the end, go left and followthe curve north as well. At the next curve, don't follow it but insteadcontinue north through the alley with the Armor in the middle. Keep going northon the next road but before the curve, look left and there will be an openingbetween two buildings that is slightly hidden by shrubber. On the other side ofthis opening (to your left will be the ramp you took for UJ 9) turn right to gonorth. (If you need a new bike, you can go across the bridge and get Jerry'sbike again.) When you're at the same wooden bridge, start leaning forwardspeeding north and you'll see a white object in the distance (a trailer). Aimjust to the right of the trailer and you'll hit a wooden ramp. You must jumpover the water and land on the other side.

########----------------------------------------------------------------------.# NOTE # - Water Landings |######## || Unfortunately, this ramp can be a bit tricky. I tried leaning forward while ||going on the ramp like I do with all others, and Vic fell off the bike while ||it soared through the air. Other times Vic hit the ramp awkwardly, causing it||to slow down just enough to where I did not make the jump. I found it best ||(though it still took some tries) to lean forward while heading to the ramp, ||then almost right when I get to it, lean back all the way to help lift the ||front up just a bit and to possibly make it across. || || If you do land in the water, don't worry. There's a ramp leading back up to ||the docks just to the west of the white trailer that we passed for the ramp. |`-----------------------------------------------------------------------------'

:::::::::::::::::::::::: JUMP 12 - LITTLE HAITI:::::::::::::::::::::::: Go around east to the dead end road to the north. Turn right but stay on thesouthern edge of the road and look left to the alley you went down for Balloon22. Back up to the southern wall and hold down your gas and break at the sametime. Your back tire will start spinning but you'll go no where. After a fewseconds and making sure your tilting the Left Stick slightly forward, let go ofthe break and get a small boost of speed from the start and keep leaningforward all the way north up the alley and at the end will be stairs to ramp.You have to land past this black line that is on the roof (you'll see when youget there) of the building the stairs are connected to. It may help if rightwhen you reach the stairs, you pull back on the Left Stick all the way. If youtime it just right, the motorcycle will fly high and onto the northern area ofthe roof past the black line. (This took me a while so don't get upset if youdont' get it on your first try.)

:::::::::::::::::::: JUMP 13 - DOWNTOWN:::::::::::::::::::: Drift left and north off the roof so your by the waterside. Head north alongthe waterside and when you reach the end, turn right and you'll see the end ofthe ramp to your left. Go around on the ramp and follow the path north. Iusually do the 180 at the palm trees to face south towards the dirt ramp. Leanforward and speed up the ramp. You will need to clear a high wall and land onthe other side.

:::::::::::::::::::: JUMP 14 - DOWNTOWN:::::::::::::::::::: Do a 180 facing the wall you just jumped over. Go to the right side of it andyou'll actually be able to pass between the wall and the building. Now head allthe way east between the northern side of the green building and the wall tothe main road. Head north and then left into the construction zone. At the backof the building you pass under, turn left and you'll see scaffolding. Go to thewall and you'll see a wooden path that leads up the scaffolding and into anempty room. You should of noticed another wooden ramp facing west from the edgeof the room's opening. Back up to the east wall and leaning forward, drive upthe ramp. You must land on the roof below.

PICKUP ! - BRIBE |!!!!!!!!!! || At the north side of the crane on the ground will be the police Bribe that ||will take away one wanted star. |`-----------------------------------------------------------------------------'

:::::::::::::::::::: JUMP 15 - DOWNTOWN:::::::::::::::::::: Go north off the roof and you'll see the next ramp straight ahead. Just headin the oppositite direction of the ramp and then do a 180 to face it. Leanforward and speed up the ramp. You must make it over the wall and onto thegrass on the other side.

:::::::::::::::::::: !!!!!!!!!! JUMP 16 - DOWNTOWN ! PICKUP ! - ARMOR:::::::::::::::::::: !!!!!!!!!! Go east across the grass and cross the first road onto the other. Follow easton this road and the curve north. Drift far right onto the grass and followalong the outer railing with the water on the other side. When you get to thefirst building (making sure you lean forward of course) after the Empire site(explained later), go between it and the railing but stay along the building'swall and you will be going up a big staircase. You must jump over the bridgeand land on the other side behind the building right where Armor is.

:::::::::::::::::::: JUMP 17 - DOWNTOWN:::::::::::::::::::: Get on the road going north and follow the curve west and then north to theT intersection. Turn east but stay on the northern side of the road and(leaning forward as always) pass the curve to between the buildings and up thestairs on the southern building. You have to land on the Dirtbike Track.

:::::::::::::::::::: JUMP 18 - DOWNTOWN:::::::::::::::::::: Go west back onto the road and all the way to the stadium area. Get to thewest side of the loop road in front of the stadium. On the south side of thisroad will be a wide but small set of stairs facing some water with land on theother side. Start at the northern end of the road and, leaning forward, speedtoward the stairs, cautious of traffic. You need to jump over the water andland on the other side.

:::::::::::::::::::: JUMP 19 - DOWNTOWN:::::::::::::::::::: From the little lot you landed in, go just north until the alley meets theloop road. Now do a 180 facing south in the alley. You'll have to lean forwardand drift slightly left after the building, into an opening in a wall, andramp between two green trailers. YOu need to go pretty far for this one and youMUST land on the roof on the other side (so aim just a tiny bit left). Even ifyou make the jump and don't land on the roof, you'll have to keep doing itagain until you do land (far on) the roof.

:::::::::::::::::::: JUMP 20 - DOWNTOWN:::::::::::::::::::: On the dark roof, go to the south side and then east. You'll see the nextramp heading east on top of the King Knuts shop. Just back up to the west sideof the roof, do a 180, and (leaning forward) speed up the ramp. You're"suppose" to land on the roof across the street, but you can actually hit thewall of the building and still make the jump. Just make sure you have enoughhealth so you'll survive the landing. Actually...

!!!!!!!!!!--------------------------------------------------------------------.! PICKUP ! - HEALTH |!!!!!!!!!! || (I'll mention this now in case your health is low from falling off your bike||too much.) Go to the little outdoor shopping center with the palm trees just ||north of King Knuts. Going north along the buildings, you go into a large ||alley. Continue north following the alley and just past another Empire site ||will be the Health icon. |`-----------------------------------------------------------------------------'

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: JUMP 21 - STARFISH ISLAND (PS2 ONLY):::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Go back to the main road and head far south. Turn left into Starfish Island.Go to the southeastern part and turn once again into the larg (Diaz) mansion(if you got the red balloon from before then you'll know which mansion). Thistime though, follow the driveway to the end. Look left and you'll see a smallwooden ramp. Start at the edge of the driveway (where the dirt road starts) andspeed directly towards the ramp. You simply need to jump over the small pondjust ahead. You don't really need to lean forward because you don't want toovershoot and land in the main water, losing your bike. :p

::::::::::::::::::::::::: JUMP 22 - LITTLE HAVANA::::::::::::::::::::::::: Remember at the beginning of this section how I explained that there was ajump on the Restaurant Boat (where you ended the Playground mission on justbefore the south bridge), but I wanted to do that until last because you willbe forced to lose your bike? (Though, of course, you probably had to getseveral new bikes by now due to all the hard landings and crashes.) Well nowwe're going to do it!

Go back west out of Starfish Island and then go south. Looking left, findwhere the small boat is and then distance yourself from the southern set ofstairs by heading right, between the buildings, and into the parking lot. Do a180 and, leaning forward, speed towards the stairs. Since they're small,remember they're just to the left of the "Benny's Restaurant" sign. You mustclear the boat and land in the water for the final jump for now!

========= GOAL ========= This is simply a mayhem side-mission. You need to cause $1,700 worth of damagein only three minutes by crashing into vehicles. The payment works out as such: $10 for each spin from a car. $50 for knocking someone off a bike. $50 for throwing cars into the air. $150 for flipping over cars. $250 for pushing cars into the water. $300 for completely destroying a car/blowing it up.

============= STRATEGY ============= If you managed to make the vehicle you came in on burn, then with the truck,smash into that vehicle and it should blow up very quickly, thus giving you aboost of $300!

Now the way I do this just so I can be at a different location at the end, isafter I get in the truck, I go east on the road and then take the first leftgoing face-on into traffic. I follow the (main) road all the way north towardsoncomming traffic (of course going into the right line when there is nooncomming traffic), but try to hit as many things as possible. I do suggestavoiding police due to how slow the Linerunner is, the cop could bust you.When you get to the northern split of the main road, stay in the wrong lanetowards the traffic and the timer should end just as you hit the police stationin Downtown.

========= GOAL ========= You must put out fires across the Mainland area. There are 15 levels and eachlevel will add one new target to put out. You will also be timed, but the timeis cumulative, so the farther you go, the more time you will have. You'll alsoget additional time for every target you put out. As well, the levels will besaved after 5 and 10, so say if you happen to fail on level 7, you'll startagain from level 5.

============= STRATEGY ============= There's not much I can really say since all targets are random. Use O to firethe water cannon and use the Right Stick to turn the nozzle. L3 will turn theannoyng sirens on. I like to keep them on though and just mute my TV, then turnon some music or something. :p Level 1 will have only a car to put out. Level 2will have a car and a person inside that &&&&&&&&-----------------------------.will run out and around until doused. & TIPS & - Blowing and Wanting |Level 3 will be a car and two people and &&&&&&&& |so on to level 15 with three cars and | Try not to kill the people or blow |twelve people. You'll know when you are |up the vehicles. You may either lose|hitting your target correctly because |the mission or valuable seconds! |white smoke will start to rise and also | |hear a "bink" when the target's safe. | Try also not to attract police | |attention. Now the best way I try to put out the fires when there are multiple vehiclesis not to go up behind the vehicles, but instead drives up to either theirright or left sides. This way you'll be able to aim at one vehicle at a time soas not to put out all of them at once, thus causing a lot of burning people tobe running around. Basically, once to the side, put out the first vehicle, thenthe people in the first vehicle, then the second vehicle, then the people inthe second vehicle, and so on. This way you won't risk people dying (causingyou to lose time) from not saving them quick enough. If you manage to saveeveryone, you'll get a bonus of 20 seconds!

Know that targets usually spawn opposite of which way the camera is facingunless, of course, you're at the edge and there's not a road behind you. Thisactually makes it somewhat good because you can slightly manage which area thetargets will spawn. That being said, try if you can to keep making them spawnin the Downtown area. If it get's close to the edge of the area toward LittleHaiti, then just face south and the targets should spawn more north. Keywordbeing "should."

============== PAY GRADE ============== You will receive $20 for every fire you put out successfully, thus...Level 1 is 1 fire x's $20 = $20, to Level 15 is 15 fires x's $20 = $300.

========= GOAL ========= You must beat the time and win four different courses. You will not be racingagainst anyone though. Each track is a different path.

============= STRATEGY ============= The Quad Bike's handling isn't so great. It can make sharp turns and even turnover sometimes if you're not careful. Just don't get too hasty and you shoulddo fine.

COURSE 1: You must beat 1:25 in 3 laps. This one is not too difficult. Simplyfollow the pink beams, and if you look closely, you may be able to see arrowsin the beams that point directly to the location of the next beam. When you getto sharp corners, use your handbreak (R1) and while turning to the location ofthe future beam, slide into the current one.

COURSE 2: You must beat 1:35 in 3 laps. Remember, careful on sharp turns andalways look in the direction you're turning so you won't hit any surprises.Also, it is okay to cut across grass for shortcuts to the next beam. You do nothave to actually stay on the dirt path. Finally, when you're airborn, try toland the Quad so it will be level with the ground you're landing on.

COURSE 3: You must beat 1:20 in 3 laps. Keep in mind the previous tips fromthe first two courses. The laps are slightly shorter but not by much. Try tokeep your finger on the gas and use the handbreak when needed.

COURSE 4: You must beat 1:25 in 3 laps. This one has a lot of bumps and smallhills, so watch your handling. Don't take a bump too fast or you may flip out.On the big hill, don't take it too fast or you may risk landing awkwardly onthe other side and fall off, in which case you'll loose seconds running back tothe Quad and probably failing. Be quick with this one too.

============= STRATEGY ============= The BMX can be easy to handle, but does require you to repeatedly tap X tocycle faster (just like sprinting). When you use your handbreak though, thebike could come to a complete stop, so in some situations, just let go of X tocoast and turn at the same time to keep the momentum going.

COURSE 1: You must beat 1:25 in 3 laps. This one is not too difficult. Try totap X as much as possible until you run out of stamina (unless you have theinfinate sprint feature unlocked - explained later). When you do run out ofumph to cycle fast, then just keep X pressed down and Vic will still keep apretty good speed. Remember to look where you're heading on turns because youcould crash into somthing and fall off.

COURSE 2: You must beat 1:30 in 3 laps. This one is probably a little easierthan the first. Just remember that while in the air to lean your bike forwardor back to line up with the angle of the ground you're landing on so as not tocrash. Also remember to coast on wide turns and handbrake and sharp turns.

COURSE 3: You must beat 1:20 in 3 laps. Remember you can cut across the grassstraight to the next beam if possible, but be careful of the one right afterthe large hill because if you go to it from the top of the hill, you could riskhitting a small grass wall where there is a dip in the path and fall off. Justwait until your down the hill and then head for the beam. Also watch your radarbecause after you pass a certain beam, you'll have to keep heading right andinto the next beam. [when I first played it, I didn't look at the radar andkept going forward because I didn't see the beam to the right.]

COURSE 4: You must beat 1:35 in 3 laps. This one has a few dips and humps soalways look where you're going and level your landings. Not too difficulteither.

COURSE 5: You must beat 1:45 in 3 laps. Not much difference here. Watch yourturns and landings. When you get to the second beam after the small bridge,stay to the left of the palm tree while going to the third, because there areawkward slopes that could cause you to go into the tree or fall off if you tryto take that small shorcut. [I tried it the first lap and it drove me into thetree, knocking me off. I still managed to make it though!]

COURSE 6: You must beat 1:40 in 3 laps. This one is not that difficult either,what with all the practice you've had from the previous courses. Just watch outfor the sharp turn that leads to the two hills and always remember to go down ahill first and then make a turn to the next beam.

COURSE 7: You must beat 1:35 in 3 laps. Once again, not much to it. If youtake the shortcuts though across the grass, just watch out for the beam thatwould be directly between you and the steep slope at the edge of the track.Remember to either coast at just the right angle or handbreak to the left andslide into the beam. If you go up the slope head on or at an awkward angle, itcould cause you to fall off (it did me).

COURSE 8: You must beat 2:40 in 3 laps. Yeah, this one is slightly longer thanwhat you've done, but it is the last course for the BMX! Everything you'veworked on comes into play here so remember it all: level your landings, coastor handbreak your turns (depending on how sharp), look where you're turning,and tap X to cycle fast until out of stamina, then just hold X to peddle.

========= GOAL ========= You must beat the time and win twelve different courses. You will not beracing against anyone though. Each track is a different path.

============= STRATEGY ============= The Sanchez is an ok bike. It's not too fast and not too slow. It also handlesbetter on dirt than the other bikes, but handling can still be a little hard attimes. Be careful. It is also possible to make an additional $10 every time youramp farther than 8 meters!

COURSE 1: You must beat 1:55 in 3 laps. This one is not that difficult. Usethe handbreak when needed to make sharp turns. I also suggest NOT leaningforward on your bike unless you're absolutely sure you have a straight path toyour next beam without any interruptions. Always make sure to level yourlandings as well with the ground.

COURSE 2: You must beat 1:35 in 3 laps. Honestly, this one is not difficult aswell. Just keep the same tips as the first course.

COURSE 3: You must beat 2:00 in 3 laps. Same as the others. Follow the tips.Also remember you can cut across the grass to make it to the next beam ifthere's nothing hindering your way. Note to not take the small single mound onthe south side too fast because you'll have to make a sharp right, rightafterwords.

COURSE 4: You must beat 1:20 in 3 laps. This one uses some small mounds anddips, so remember to level your landings and watch your path.

COURSE 5: You must beat 1:40 in 3 laps. Another simple one. Just be carefulmaking that turn where you have to go onto the bridge because you could missit, but that's really it.

COURSE 6: You must beat 2:25 in 3 laps. There is only one straight path duringthe course. All the other times you will either be in the air or turning, sodon't lean forward too much during this run. Watch your turns and level yourlandings.

COURSE 7: You must beat 2:10 in 3 laps. Be careful with your speed on thisone. There are some sharp turns and when you go up the big hill, don't go toofast or you may risk crashing into the wooden bridge on the other side. Alsowatch out for the marker on the hill because it will require you to turn rightinstead of going straight across.

COURSE 8: You must beat 2:05 in 3 laps. Remember to drift into turns with thehandbreak when needed and try to cut as many corners as possible. Be carefulgoing up the big hills too so you wont crash into bridges or anything on theother side. Remember if you think you're going to overshoot a turn and you knowthe handbreak won't make it, then just slow down slightly with [] and then usethe handbreak.

COURSE 9: You must beat 2:10 in 3 laps. This one has a few of the smallerhumps which the Sanchez should not have a problem with. Other than that, itshould be slightly easy.

COURSE 10: You must beat 2:55 in 3 laps. This one has a lot of bumps and dips.Remember to level your landings and watch your speed going up the hill with thebridges on the other side.

COURSE 11: You must beat 3:00 in 3 laps. Yes, the laps are slightly long, buthonestly there is not much difficulty to it. [I finished with 20 seconds stillleft.] Just cut across the grass when you can, drift into hard turns, and levelyour landings.
