The WEBBi Browser Control Panel screen allows the user to adjust volume and MicPOD output levels; switch video sources; pan, tilt and zoom your PTZ camera and store and recall camera presets. WEBBi also controls the AutoPresenter, a PTZ camera controller and video switcher for more complex installations.

The instructor wears a lanyard belt pack that emits infrared light received by an IR PTZ camera. Video is then sent from the IR PTZ camera to the Tracking Camera. The result is a smooth, accurate panning motion that follows the instructor as they walk around the presentation area of the classroom. AutoTrak 2.0 eliminates the need for a staff person to operate a camera in a classroom to follow the instructor as they conduct class.

Both the IR camera and the tracking camera are based on Vaddio’s ClearVIEW HD-18 or ClearVIEW HD-20 high definition PTZ cameras. The system can deliver both standard definition and high definition video from the tracking camera. In addition to freeing speakers to move about the presentation area, Vaddio systems enable the seamless presentation of video content, written documents, whiteboard content, PC presentations and more, all through the use of simple preset triggers.

Camera presets can be triggered to a close-up on a classroom lectern by Vaddio’s weight-activated StepVIEW mat. By walking below an IR Sensor, the speaker triggers a preset wide shot of the boardroom or lecture hall. Switching to a document, PC or whiteboard presentation is achieved with a touch of a button on the PresenterPOD. AutoPresenterVaddio’s AutoPresenter is designed to make it easier to present and create content in the classroom by combining the automation of people and content in one easy-to-use technology. The ability to control PTZ cameras, switch up to six types of content (video, document camera, whiteboard, PC, etc.) and display a PIP makes AutoPresenter the most vital piece of equipment in a virtual classroom.

The AutoPresenter can switch up to six video inputs in analog component HD (720p/1080i/1080p), RGBHV (up to 1920 x 1200) and SD video (NTSC and PAL). Individual video transitions including fades, wipes and dissolves can be programmed as required, while each video input can be up/down converted to create a common aspect ratio and resolution. An additional output converter will convert YPbPr component video to a DVI/HDMI digital output for integrating with Cisco and Polycom codecs.
