Cardiff Drift• The information we can extract from the map

is that there is a divide in the areas where you can see more ads vs areas where you can find more art.

• This can give us valuable information on

where to find the more artistic neighbourhoods in a city compared to the commercial areas.

• Even though we have not included it in the map, it shows that artistic expression tends to show itself in the poor areas of Cardiff more, while the expensive areas have become mostly commercial.

Objectives

Map the space dedicated to advertisements or art

Art: Sculptures, Street Art, Galleries, Art Exhibitions etc

Ads: Posters, Billboards

Measure a third parameter using the Decibel10th app to measure how much

sound was produced in the area where we found the art/ads.

The differences in decibel levels were minimal with the range being between

70-85 dB. So we decided that we could not use the app as there was not much

change in any of the areas.
