Status of Deforestation: Largest and most critical forested areas are in the tropics.
Nation states in these areas are often under-developed and striving for improved
economies. . In an effort to obtain enhanced incomes, local people and developers
often look to natural forest areas to provide the potential for profit through altering land
use. This frequently results in the conversion of forested land to agricultural land, and
deforestation for fuelwood, hardwood, urbanisation, mining and war

THE IMPORTANCE OF FOREST TO OUR LIFE

Forest has been of great importance to mankind since prehistoric days. 60% of the earth oncecovered with forest. With the development of civilization, large areas have been cleared to makeway for farms, mines, towns and roads. Today about 30% of earth is still forested. The economicvalue of forests, supply many products like wood from trees as lumber, plywood and fuel wood orcharcoal. Timber is used in furniture making, building houses, ships and railway sleepers. Pulp
and paper are made from the cellulose of trees. Processed wood products include cellophane, plastics, synthetic fibers like rayon and nylon. Latex from trees such as the rubber tree goes tomake tyres, tunes and a wide range of rubber goods. Other uses; fruits, nuts and spices aregathered from the forest. Many medicinal plants such as camphor, cinchona, coca (from which thedrug cocaine is extracted) also come from the forests. Cork from the thick bark of the cork oak isstripped for making bottling cork. Forests help to conserve soil by preventing rapid runoff of waterafter heavy rain and minimizing flooding. Trees take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen into air, which is a great benefit to mankind.
Forests influence local and global climate. The forest is also vital as a watershed. Because of thethick humus layer, loose soil, and soil-retaining powers of the trees' long roots, forests are vitallyimportant for preserving adequate water supplies.
The wild animals and other beings get enough protection from the solar heat, temperature and theleaf cover formed on the earth gives cooling effect to the earth. . Since trees absorb heat, weshouldn't cut them down. Natural wildlife is important because it is part of the natural circle of
life. If bears start to die off,{ as it would be too hot without trees/forests} than the trout are going tobecome overpopulated and other scavengers that rely on bears will begin to starve. Without eaglesand other birds of prey, rodents' population will increase which will cause more rodents in thecities and towns.Forests offer privacy, reduce light reflection, offer a sound barrier and help guide wind directionand speed. Forest help in giving the direction of wind and its speed. Forest helps in keeping environment healthy and beautiful.
Forests also minimize noise pollution.

1. Could U tell me what is benefits of forests ?=> Forests influence local and global climate, the forest is also vital as a watershed
and more and more.
2. Which do people exploitation in the forest?
=> People exploitation forest with many purpose such as exploitation of timber,
make farms, make way into farms, towns and roads etc ...
3. Do people deforestation to improvement to human's life ?
=> Yes, correct. However, so wrong of human's mind so ... maybe our life hadbeen improved now but in the future we can't know what will happend.
4. How much is square forest now?
=> I think the totall forest square in the world are 30% land of earth about.
5. Do Forest help in giving the direction of wind and its speed?
=> Yes, correct
6. What need we do to improve the current situation of forest?
=> We need demonstrators to stop deforestation, and planting more trees etc,

Comes in different forms and frommany sources.
Ozone and Particulate matter are two
types of Air Pollution that affect human.
Air Pollution

What is Ozone?
An odorless, colorless gas composed ofthree oxygen atoms.
Ozone in the upper atmosphereprotects us from the suns harmfulultraviolet rays.
At ground- level in the air webreathe, ozone(smog) poses seriousricks to human heath.

particles of different substances suspendedin the air
in the form of solid particles and liquiddroplets
particles vary widely in size

What can you do ?
Reduce vehicle emissions:
Drive less
Turn off the engine when your vehicle isnot in motion
Take public transportation bike, or walk
