Grinch Day  

in Room 4   

December 22, 2017 

  

What a great Grinch Day we had today! The children 

were so excited and had so much fun!!! We started our 

Grinch Day by reading The Grinch Who Stole 

Christmas, and sharing our Good Deed books! The 

children were so proud to share their good deeds with 

their friends. Thank you for helping the children 

complete the books.

We played Pin the Heart on the Grinch, the children did a great job of 

giving the Grinch many hearts! He had hearts everywhere!! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The children enjoyed finding the “numbers the Grinch stole” while 

completing their math activity. 

 

 

 

 

We also labeled the Grinch during writing with help from Mrs. V 

 

 

 

 

Finally, we got to watch Dr. Seuss’ version of The Grinch that Stole 

Christmas, (cartoon version) and eat green cookies and Grinch Popcorn. 

Thank you Mrs. Rabe for making two kinds of popcorn, (Grinch & plain) 

and thank you Mrs. DeGiacomo for baking green cookies. 

 

 

 

Due to early dismissal we were unable to complete all the activities we 

had planned for the day. I gave the children the option of taking home 

the extra fun pages to complete, it is not a requirement, just meant 

for fun!!!
