Thirteen year old Edie Tomka has been collecting assorted brands of model horses for over 8 years with her current amount hovering around 115 models. Edie is an avid lover of horses, taking riding lessons once a week. Her love of horses has greatly influenced her collecting, and she has names and pedigrees for her models. “My favorite model is Icicle, the dappled gray pony with the blue halter. I love him because he has such a cute face and because he cost me the most of all of my models. He was $80” Edie says. Though she has fallen in and out of the hobby over the past few years, she’s sure she’ll love collecting them for years to come.
