CUSTOM DIE-CUTS

Greentree-Shercon custom die-cuts are

extremely effective when masking

a flat or curved surface. They are easy to

apply and remove leaving a clean surface

with no residue. Custom shapes can be

produced to meet your application in a wide

range of materials including polyester, crepe

paper, lead and aluminium foil, glass fibre,

magnetic strip, and rubber sheeting offering

temperatures up to 260°C.

They can be supplied with tabs to aid

removal, in kit form or individually on a

transfer liner. And should you require only

one shape to a large production run that

is no problem.

Die cut shapes can speed up the masking

operation eliminating the need and potential

dangers of sharp knives on the production

line whist product quality is improved with a

shape that gives constant accuracy time

after time.

KWIKY-MASKLIQUID MASKANT

Kwiky Mask liquid maskant is an air drying, peelable,

temporary coating that has been specifically designed for

use within the engineering sector. It is predominantly used when

chemically treating metals using processes such as; anodising,

plating, etching and chemical cutting.

The liquid coating can be applied by spray, roller, brush or

immersion and dries to form a tough, resistant film against acid

and abrasion. Kwiky Mask offers excellent adhesion and can

be easily cut if required to provide a clean, leak free edge.

After use the maskant can be simply peeled away from the

substrate, condensed into a small ball and disposed of

quickly, safely and easily.

These include:MAGNETIC MASKING (90ºC / 240ºC)A range of different thickness magnetic sheet which can be cut to your design. Available in gloss, plain or adhesive backed. Used on its own it will withstand temperatures up to 90ºC. Used in conjunction with silicone rubber or metal sheeting it can withstand temperatures of 240ºC.

SILICONE FOAM (250ºC)Suitable for complex masking of irregular shaped holes, channels and recesses. High flexibility on tolerances of threaded and plain holes. Available as sheeting in thicknesses from 1mm to 4mm and also in cylindrical and rectangular cord format.

PROTECTION / MASKING COVERS (150ºC)Polythene or paper covers providing excellent protection, masking components during manufacture. Ideal for wet paint, pre-treatment and other spray applications where large areas or shapes require protection. Elasticated or adhesive sealed, it can also be provided with a corrosion inhibitor to protect metal components during manufacture, transport and storage.
