Curriculum Vitae of Uday M – Program Organizer

As a chief visionary for Delish Veggies, Uday believes that, increased awareness about nutritious food will drive thedemand for quality produce by many folds and technical innovation will be the key to achieve it.

Uday envisions Controlled Environment Farming as a healthier option because it prevents the produce from gettingmutilated/adulterated due to external pollutants/calamities and conserves natural resources by integrating technologyand available resources. He also aims to use alternative renewable energy sources for his produce in future.

Prior to getting into his passion for high technology urban farming, Uday has 13 years of corporate experience with India’sLeading Companies. His profile demanded traveling across different countries, exposing him to the world of hightechnology farming in those countries. His interest in farming probed him to understand these models in detail and bringit back home to improve our farm productivity and help Indian growers to join the high tech farming movement.

He is Masters in Marketing Management and Bachelor in Production Engineering (University Rank holder) from Pune.

Uday is serving Delish Veggies as Chief Executive Officer.  Armed with a course from Arizona Agriculture University’s Controlled Environment Engg. Dept, USA, Uday has setup his first hydroponic greenhouse in Pune in 2015. This is the high technology green house, employing Controlled Environment Agriculture for producing high quality varieties of cherry Tomatoes, Color Capsicums and Lettuce.
