To pay tribute to the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001, the Kappa Alpha Society placed 2,977 American flags near Trinity Hall overlooking the Quad as part of the annual Day of Remembrance. The HWS community lost three alumni in the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001: Andrew H. Golkin ’93, Scott W. Rohner ’01 and Michael J. Simon ’83, P’11, P’13. (Kappa Alpha)
