P r e s s r e l e a s eThe Jammu and Kashmir Accounts Employees Association (Kashmir Province) met here today on 17-07-2014. The meeting was presided over by its President Mr. Shakir Hussain. The members present took stock of the present situation and discussed various issues relating to the cadre. The Association feels satisfied over the recent developments in the cadre management which include promotion of members of J&K Accounts Subordinate Services and J&K Accounts Gazetted Services. The Association expresses gratitude and thanks Mr. Altaf Hassan Mirza DGAT for his immense show of resolution and great concern for the cadre. The Association also thanks Honorable Finance and Ladakh Affairs Minister Mr. Abdul Rahim Rather and Commissioner Secretary to Finance Mr. BB Viyas for their positive approach.
The Association reiterates its support to the present DGAT. It has always been a good omen for the cadre whenever Mr. Altaf Hassan Mirza took over the Administrative Post whether at Provincial level or State level. He has been on forefront to stir the ship of the cadre through thick and thin. It is his style to simplify even the tediously aspects of task in a jiffy. The issuance of Govt. Order No. 168-F of 2014 dated 14-07-2014 bears the testimony. It had been a thorny issue over a long period. Full credit goes to this upright man. The Association endorses and acknowledges his resolution / efforts and congratulates him at his success during this short period. It is hoped that other genuine demands meet the same logical end. It has been the untiring and unwavering efforts of the Association for last 02 years to push forward its genuine demands at different forums. The present outcome in shape of promotions from Accounts Assistants to CAO’s is tribute to its continuous and enormous efforts. The Association stand by its commitment to fight for the cause of the cadre. Meanwhile the Association congratulates all the members of J&K Accounts Subordinate Service and J&K Accounts Gazetted Service who have been promoted recently and wish them all the best. The Association appeals all the cadre members to stay tuned and stand united.
