1 GRADE 3 NEWS Week of December 3rd Language: - This week, we tackled singular and plural nouns. - Next week, we will practice writing and will be conducting binder check. - Sheets required in the binder: Language Worksheets: Spell worksheet 1 and spell worksheet 2. Language weekend packs: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and weekend pack 1 - term 2. Language Assessments: Quiz 1, Quiz 2, Mid-semester exam and quiz 1 – Term 2. Literature: Term 2 Quiz 1 has been sent home in the binder. - This week, we tackled singular and plural nouns.

Dear Parents and Students,
This week we finished the Career Pack. Students were able to recognize
new jobs and analyze their importance in our community. Each student
shared had his/her dream job out loud with the classmates. Students were
able to relate their career with the skills required.
This week we discovered that communities are not all of the same size.
They have different sizes. Students were able to distinguish between an ur-
ban area, suburb, and the rural area.
New Words (President, Population, Capital City, Suburb, Transportation,
and Rural Area)

Next week we will continue unite 2 :
Leçon 3 : les couleurs.
Lecon 4:: verbe etre.
Student will be capable to identify the colors in French , they will
also learn the subject verb agreement of verb etre (to be ) in
French.
