Projects and Responsibilities:

RF Engineer:

Data Build (GSM 2G/3G/LTE 4G) T-MOBILE USA

Provide Data build support for Swap Project from other Vendor to NSN of 2G Parameters for New Sites roll-out, DAP-MAL-LAPD Creation, Up gradation from NSN Ultra to NSN Flexi, TRX Addition/Deletion & Reshuffling along with ET Change, Creation of Slave BTS, ADCE Addition & Deletion, ADJW Addition.

Provide Data built support for 3G SCF & RNW Plan Preparation for new Sites as per CIQ in AWS & PCS.

Parameters Audit and Neighbor Audit in whole Network after XML execution.

Also providing parameter modification plans if required.

Co-ordination with local regional team for missing inputs / Inconsistent inputs and implementation team for successful execution of xmls without any error

Additionally give support for LTE SCF (Different configuration) Preparation for new Sites as per CIQ in 2100 BAND, 1900 BAND & 700 BAND.

Provide support for rerouting xml in GSM plan for incoming adjacencies creation, to avoid handover failure.

Preparing adjacencies xml plan in LTE for 2G to LTE (GSM-ADJL), 3G to LTE (WCDMA-ADJL), LTE to 2G (LNADJG) & LTE to 3G (LNADJW).

Generate xml scripts using Net Act Plan Editor Tool and DAISY Tool

Commissioning & integration of New BTS sites

Preparation and Analysis of daily Network Performance Reports

Monitoring remote alarms for keeping track of the sites.

Coordination with field team in case of BSC loss of visibility.

Troubleshooting & debugging the faults in Vodafone GSM network along with diagnosing the different units at BSS level.

To conduct network surveillance, take ownership of faults, manage & resolve the fault with minimal outage.

Analyzing & rectifying BTS related alarms.

To ensure smooth running of the network by resolving various faults within SLA.

To act upon critical outages effectively & reduce network outage to the minimum.

Diagnosis of faults for all units of BSC as well as BTS.

Checking status of signaling links & Circuit Groups to Enhance the Network performance.

Analyzing root causes of site down as well as BTS parameters & providing solutions on it.

Preparing regular database backup (Fallbacks) for NOKIA BSC3i.

Provide the remote BTS support for BSS O&M engineer through BTS manager for creation & deletion of TRX, LAPD & OMU signaling time slot, frequency changing & analysis the traffic measurements.

Perform various maintenance activities to ensure smooth running of the network.

Preventive maintenance:

Health check is performed for all the BSS units

Voice and data Circuit state.

Diagnosis of N/W elements for faults.

Software fallback creation and maintenance.

Notification of Service Affecting / degradation faults / alarms & fixing the same in the network within the operator specific SLA & OLA.

Perform audit of Network performance using PM reports (Worst performing cells, sleeping cells, zero call cells, VSWR issues, TCH Completion / Assignment, etc) Analyze KPI reports & rectify the faults.

Intensive analyses of cell outage reports & minimize the network outage to ensure maximum network availability.

Resolve GPRS related issues, related to data traffic.

Resolve faults due to configuration mismatch

BSS Monitoring engineer - VF_INDIA

Providing the level 2 support to remote NOKIA Switches on DX200 platform.

Identification of alarms and alarm handling in BSS.

Traffic measurement and Analysis.

Escalation of faults and maintaining the records of the same.

Analysis & troubleshooting of BTS through MML commands.

Preparing of 24Hrs cell outage reports and active alarms reports.

Implementation of the changes in the network as per requirement through TLUI.

Analyze various Real Time reports & fix the issues immediately based on severity (Real Time FM reports, online active alarm report, Real time CGR report, etc)
