HANDLING

Keep chocolates cool and dry. Store at 59º to 68º F and 50%

to 55% relative humidity. Do not refrigerate chocolates.

MINIMUM One case of any one product

TERMS

In order to make purchases at wholesale, items must be

for resale and buyer must provide Federal ID Number and

State Sales and Use Tax Cer tificate. First order : Prepayment,

MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover. Credit card

payments are processed on the day of shipment. Any credit

card payments made after the day of shipment may be

charged a 5% surcharge plus relevant past due charges. Net

30 by check upon approval of a signed credit application.

Please write invoice number on check. Only one outstanding

invoice at a time. 1-1/2% per month charge added to invoices

over 30 days past due. No orders will be shipped to accounts

with an outstanding balance 45 days past due. Accounts over

45 days past due may lose credit status. $50.00 returned

check charge. No unauthorized deductions from invoices

accepted. Foreign shipments only by prepayment, letter of

credit, MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover. We

are EDI capable. Prices subject to change without notice.

SHIPPING

FOB Westerly, RI via UPS Ground unless otherwise necessary.

All warm climate and warm season orders ( April 1 through

October 15) may be shipped via UPS or FedEx 2 day or

Overnight ( with the exception of ME, NH, VT, MA, CT, RI, NY,

NJ, PA, DE, Wash D.C., WV, MD) or on refrigerated carriers.

Warm climate and warm season orders are shipped with

insulation and ice packing. Most orders are shipped within

one or two weeks of receipt.

CLAIMS

Hauser Chocolatier must be notified within 48 hours of

receipt of merchandise. Authorization is required for return and

credit for damaged or incorrect goods. All product and packaging

must be retained and available for inspection on damage

claims. No credit will be given for items returned without

authorization. There is a 20% restocking charge on returns

made at customer’s discretion.
