MEDICINAL PROPERTIES OF INDIAN GOOSEBERRY

Why gooseberry?

Even since ancient times, the goose berry was well known for its medicinal use & was said to be precious. Hence, also worshipped during Tulsi pooja. Our ancestors had discovered the beneficial effects of gooseberry in the field medicine and even implement it in ayurvedic therapy. Gooseberry fruit is infact a boon with all positive effects .

INDIAN GOOSEBEERY or AMLA

Indian Gooseberry ( phyllanthus emblica ) is a scared, deciduous tree. Family : Euphorbiaceae Indian Gooseberry contains 80% water, protein, Carbohydrates, minerals & vitamins like Calcium, Phosphorus, Iron, chromium, Carotene, Vitamin C & vitamin B complex. Gooseberry was recommended to plague victims in 16th century.
