13th March 2014 - Week 6 Term 1
Golden Bay School’s Swimming Sports Last Friday, we sent a team of 47 children to compete in the Golden Bay School’s Swimming Sports
held at the High School pool. All swam a minimum of two races with many making semis and finals
which meant for a tiring day.
Many of the children needed to draw on our vision of Believe in Yourself and Take the Challenge, as
they were very nervous and at times doubted themselves.,

well.

Triathalon training
I loved getting wet in the pool. It was fun
because I got wet when I ran in the water.

Thursday
Today we all hopped in the pool for Triathlon train-
ing. We ran in the water fast. Next we ran to the
back field. We had to go around two times in the
pool. I liked getting wet in the water. I had to go
fast in the water and climb out of the pool. It was
fun doing triathalon training.

age signs for the placement of bikes, which will be set up early in the morning by the

If your child needs to borrow a bike /scooter on the day please let us know by next
Thursday so we can arrange someone from another age group to share.
If you have a trailer and are able to transport bikes / scooters to Pohara, please let us
know as there could be a few to transport.
We will also need a few parents to help around the track when your child isn’t racing,
