1.0 Overview of the event

University of Nottingham Archery is one from 21 sports club that had been existed in

the university since the opening of the university. The university that has more than 4000

students studying in the University had allowed a tremendous increase in the numbers of cluband societies. UNMC Archery club is one of the clubs that had just established since 2012.

As the number of members in the club keeps increasing throughout the year, the club

must also increase the amount of events in order to fulfill the increasing capacity. Hence, the

club would like to arrange an event called the Indoor Archery Tournament for recurve archers

that will gather all the archers from Selangor and nearby areas.

The main objective of the event is to collect funds in maintaining the club and gain

experience in handling a big events which not only include the university’s archer .In addition ,

all the archers can gain new experience competing with other archers including the state

archers.

Hence, The event apply the concept of volunteers which all the volunteers are selected

from the members of the club . The concept allows all the volunteers that volunteered

themselves are the active members that would like to gain experience rather than gaining

money.

2.0 Benefit to the club

Arranging such events will allow funding from the Student Association grant funding and

acquire new equipment that most likely would be used in the events. After the event ended, all

the equipment will most likely be put into the club’s inventory.

Furthermore, the arrangement of the event was put on a purpose to introduce the

existence of the club throughout the area of Selangor and other nearby areas. As most of thearchers around the area of Kajang are the veteran archers, coaches, and state players, the

purpose will much more effective and efficient.
