GTTCU Retrofit for GTR 8000/9000
The field of electronic equipment in particular, is quickly developing and year by year new generations of technology enter the markets. In some cases, older versions become obsolete and are not available anymore, even as spare parts.The last installation of a GTR control unit in a new Neumag line was in 1996. A technical failure in the older unit can cause long downtimes resulting in an expensive loss of production because spare parts cannot be acquired anymore.
Solutions for components which are not available anymoreOerlikon Neumag offers a solution for obsolete GTR controllers. Our GTTCU (Godet texturing temperature control unit) replaces existing GTR units.
The GTTCU is based on the latest Siemens S7 components with a long original part availability and quick delivery time. One-to-one exchange, no cabling necessary, for shortest downtimes and minimum costs.
The disassembled GTR components can be used as spare parts in other old GTR units to keep them running.It is therefore possible to, step-by-step, replace the old technology with modern and future-proof equipment. This keeps investments at a minimum without compromising quality or lead times.
