Before we came up with an app, we had to see the problems we faced in a weekly basis. Our top 5 problems we came up with were:● Losing your Diary and forgetting that I had H/W● Losing your Phone● Missing the bus● Losing your timetable● Getting up late.Our number 1 problem we have is losing our diary. This is why we made our app about an online diary so no one can have the same mistake that we and countless others have faced.

Always losing your diary then getting into trouble because you don't have it to write your lessons or your homework. Are app (World School Diary) will never get lost because you always have your phone so you will always have your diary. It comes in all different languages, just for you.

Mini Elevator Pitch

My team, Geek & neek, is developing app to help people who forget important information for school. There are many problems that are being solved form the use of our app, for example diaries cost £5 our app is cost effective and another is it can’t be lost easily. Because it’s cheaper means that the school can use extra money for the school. Modern day technology is advancing so the way schools communicate with the students id key, and so henceforth must move forward with the times.

Why use Our AppSay if you need homework to be done, or if you need help with finding a textbook and other problems then our app is for you.

Our app is a school diary app as you know and it includes a sign in page at the beginning so no one would delete your work and other personal information.

Some pages are useful for homework and activity work on devices from apple, android and windows. More useful than a standard diary getting lost and paying for another one.

One of the main homepages

This page is designed for a tracking device so you know where you're going in the school and is the main place you come back to go on and access a variety of different places. Once you have finished on another page this the the main one you can come back to access other pages and is extremely key in our app. The way the tracking device works is, is you will have a birds eye view of the school and a marker of your destination you simply have to their by following the route.

This page is to log in to the app. We recommend that you login because it means that no one can hack your phone and delete your work on it. This page has the school logo on because we feel that each school should have their own design on this app.

This page is about information selective for the user to store password hints and usernames for many websites. The page also includes information about reminders Year co-ordinator and details like your email.

Timetable

If you lose your timetable, you don’t need to worry. This feature will save you the worry of losing your timetable, and it will save your school paper as they don’t have to print out so many timetables. On this page, if you slide the screen, it will switch the timetable to the next week of the school timetable. I feel that this is a key page as it saves the school money and it means that you won’t lose your timetable. The students will always know what lesson they have.

This page is about helping you with homework given to you by your teacher knowing when its due in like the homework page on the CBSC website.It also includes a button to the timetable page to see what lesson your homework is due in.

This page is used to help with all your problems just like it helped us. If you forget what you need to do in the day, you can use this to help you remember what that thing was. I feel that it will help our audience because it mean you won’t forget your school books and equipment.

This is a great page to learn your basics in Maths. Your times tables from 1-12. I feel that this is a good page as it helps you out with your basic Maths skills. If you forget your times tables, you can go to this page and learn them off by heart.

It gives you information and helps with problems that you face while using this app. This is an important page because it means that the users are given a guide to solve problems with the app. Overall, I feel that this is one of the most important pages as it will help to resolve anything wrong with this app. There is a part of this page which will allow you to send a complaint to us, if necessary, and we will update the app which will stop this from happening.

With our presentation we have included a variety of different tools and programs

onto our app. We have spent every lesson including our free time to produce this masterpiece. Our aim right now is to

complete the app and give this to everyone in the world this opportunity to

have an app that will change our world for the better(hopefully).

This app is going to be available on IOS, Android, Windows and blackberry. This way, everyone can use the app and not get left out.

We have planned to advertise this app in school and for the first year, we are going to let it be free so everyone can enjoy the app and try it out. After the year is over, the customers will be asked to pay the price of the app. Before they pay, they will be asked to fill out a survey to see what they enjoyed and what could be improved. If something is asked a lot, we will add it to the app.

Marketing Strategy

Marketing Harvey's ideasMy idea is to first put it on sale on the start of a new year. We should advertise it to schools and see what they think about it. On the first year, we can advertise it to two schools. We will see what they think about it and add to the app that they think could be improved. Then when we will advertise it to other schools. Alfie's ideasMy idea is to put it on sale to sixth form then sale it down to every year all the way to year 7.Show information of the app at schools , buses and any transportation to schools and see their reaction to them. We give them the app for some students in different schools and different year groups to see what they think. If students like the app, it would be placed on their school website.
