Introduction.

Jason and Josiah were both born in London, which is the capital of England and one of the countries that makes up Great Britain including Northern Ireland, Scotland ,Wales.

Jason is a member of the Caxton Youth Organisation The Caxton run youth club in Westminster and an

outdoor base in Surrey & narrow boat project http://www.caxtonyouth.org

Londonis the capital of England

This the palace of Westminster and it is the home of the Houses of Lords and the House of Commons.

Politicians from Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England from all political parties govern from this building.

It is based on the river Thames which is a major river running through London to what are called the home counties.

The sport that we will introduce is called “Boccia”

'Boccia' comes from the Latin word 'bottia', meaning 'ball'. The sport is also known as 'bocce'.

Rules of the Game

• The aim of the game is to propel a set of coloured balls and position them closer to a white 'marker' ball than those of your opponent. This white ball is called the 'jack', hence the game is similar in context to Bowls, Petanque or even French Boules.

• The game can be played either individually (one v one using 6 balls each), in pairs (two v two using 3 balls each) or as a team activity (three v three using 2 balls each
