MOTObonz is a toy designed to contain and dispense at predetermined intervals. An inner chamber holds several feedings and rotates to dispense them into an outer chamber from which the dog can work to free them. Once finished, the toy enters into a countdown mode to once again self-activate and dispense another feeding, while alerting the dog with sound and oscillating motion.

Based on feedback gathered from personnel at the SFSPCA shelter, it was learned that when playing with cats the ideal reusable toy was silicone-rubber tubing, because of its eccentric motion, durability and easy cleanup. This project was developed to be both an interactive, as well as an independent toy that featured catnip, a treat dispenser, or both. Combined polypropylene and silicone parts make these super-bright toys very durable and easy to clean.
