THE SOLUTION• A Smartphone with chemical analysers.• An analyser in the shape of a retractable

spoon is installed in the Smartphone which when dipped in food stuffs analyses the food content

• This allows greater portability • Enables people to keep a tab on their food

intake and knowing the components of the food they have.

INNOVATION• This is an innovation as it allows more

people to know their food intake.• The device is portable and can be carried

to restaurants, and can even be used to check adulteration.

• The Smartphone can therefore become smarter and act as a nutrition expert.

need to collaborate and manufacture the product.

• The device includes the Smartphone, and the chemical analyser and the cost is approximately Rs.5000/-(for the analyzer) over the original Smartphone price.
