G arrett (Gary) Kenny is a lifelong entrepreneur. He has survived in the ever-changing and often challenging world of overseas property by being extremely adaptable. Through varied skills and knowledge of many fields including logistics, warehousing, sales and marketing and, of course, commercial and residential property, he has created and established a number of successful businesses in the US and abroad. Gary first set up his own logistics business in Ireland soon after finishing school. He built this business into a very successful enterprise and subsequently set up Feltrim Developments to exploit his knowledge gained in the logistics business to develop warehousing and office units near Dublin Airport in Ireland. In 2001, he acquired a Coldwell Banker franchise and the Feltrim Group of Companies was established. The multi award winning group established by Gary operates from two offices in Davenport and Haines City. The group, first with Coldwell Banker and secondly with Century 21 has developed and sold in excess of $600 million of real estate and currently has over 40 sales agents and staff though Feltrim now operates its real estate agency side under the Century 21 banner. With proven property development expertise resulting from the successful completion of commercial developments in Ireland, property development in Florida came as a natural extension of the group’s activities and as a result of Gary’s eye for a deal. He has multi-business holding companies involved in real estate including traditional estate agency, shopping centres, commercial warehousing/transportation facilities and residential development. Part of Gary’s success is no doubt down to his “hands-on” approach. He can regularly be seen at trade exhibitions and other events, as well as personally showing his clients around his own developments including the flagship development Tuscana, a condominium resort in Orlando, Florida. He has won numerous industry awards and is well respected by clients, colleagues and peers. Gary is very much a “go to” man on Florida though it doesn’t end there. With marketing nous, connections and good people around him Gary has recently grown his interests to include multi billion dollar EB5 visa projects. On a structuring basis but also on a sales, marketing and distribution basis EB5 Select, the company’s visa business, has quickly become a true industry leader.
