    C07:-Installation of all interconnection elements for Side 1A. (3 in total).

    - Scaffolding reassembled for Side 1B interconnection installation

    preparation.

    - Humidity Filter change on Side 1B (3 out of 9 has been changed and

    Vacuum was applied.

    C08:

    - Circuit breaker boxes were entered inside building, unboxed.

    - All shock indicators were checked with the supervision of SEC

    personnel.

    C07:

    - 3 more Humidity filters have been changed on side 1B.

    - Vacuum was applied and gas filling is almost done.

    C08:

    -

    Floor Cleaning and circuit breaker alignment finalized.

    - Installation of two CBs

    C07:

    - All filters in Side1B are installed and vacuumed. Gas filling is in

    progress.

    C08:

    - All Circuit Breakers have been installed and levelled.

    C08:

    - Three CT risers were installed on side 2A from box(1000243068).

    - One CT was found damaged on the outside with the NCR No.

    16785-004.

    -

    Unboxing of 3 more CT risers.

    C08:

    -

    Humidity filters changing process is in place and had begun.

    Saturday

    C08:

    - Installation of All available CT risers. Two more CT risers are

    remaining.

    - One CT riser was noted damaged inside the box. NCR No.16785-005

    C07:

    - Scaffolding prepared for installation of interconnection elements in

    Side 1B.

    - All Interconnection elements have been installed on side 1B.

    -

    Preparation of Exit line is in place.

    -

    Steel support is entered into the building and currently being set

    up.

    - Preparation of cable trays is in place and initial installation had

    started.

    Comments:

    1-

    The metal support (triangular base) for the steel support for the high-speed acting switch is not

    available on site or missing (Two are available). Check image below for further illustration. The

    NCR with the number 16785-006 documents the mentioned issue. In the meantime two

    triangular bases are being installed.

    The washers that were missing have been found in a humidity absorbent box that is dated 2013

    However, all the humidity absorbent boxes that had been sent to this project are dated 2014.

    Noted that the washers were not placed in the specified box in the relevant packing list with the

    CB support.

    The exit line work has already started as indicated in the below pictures.

    The C-Clamps that has been provided are extra as we already have four C clamps on hand. Those

    four C clamps were brought from the Al-daeree site and hence all interconnection elements

    have been installed. The extra two c clamps are unnecessary.

    We have 20 disconnectors that require 40 aluminum bars depending on the type of

    disconnector switch However, all 40 bars are in one size although it should be of different sizes

    depending on the type of connection.

    In regards to C08 CT riser installations, two are still not yet connected due to the fact that it had

    come in separate pieces that must be all coupled together along with the drive box. A specialist

    may be required to perform this task.

    In regards to the interconnection elements: it has been pointed out that the mentioned material

    is not complete or do not comply with the packing list. While 6 interconnection elements are

    needed 5 are only available on site. Awaiting feedback about this case.

    The LCCs have arrived on site on the 1stof Dec,2014 at 1400h.

    The below T-connection is available on site and not specified where it should be installed.

    The exit line work is currently pending or will be on hold due to the location not being prepared

    instead there is excavation where the surge arresters should be placed.

    Notes about the subcontractor workers:

    a.

    The provided team is not experienced in any kind of GIS installation work.

    b.

    Weak background about mechanical works.

    c.

    The performance is poor and the lack of commitment is quite obvious in addition to the lack

    of discipline on site.
