GIS manufactures a commercial line of strippers to remove the respiratory gas, carbon dioxide, from the aqueous environment. The stripping “engine” is found in our unique hydrophobic 3D printed high resolution plastic discs. Improved first pass removal efficiency, smaller environmental footprint and low maintenance are just a few advantages of employing this unique technology.
• Typical commercial CO2 strippers require a large pump to move tank water to a stripper tower, which requires 5-10 volumes of air to treat 1 volume of water.
• The GIS Stripper requires only 1 volume of air to treat 3 volumes of water, thus dramatically shrinking the environmental footprint, and increasing efficiency.
• The unique GIS offering does not require pumps and towers, can sit within the fish tank, slip side tank or centralized degassing area.
• Excellent solution for live haul transport tanks and can be combined with the GIS oxygen infuser technology• The custom array design is based on aquatic species, stocking density and spatial footprint• Results in healthy fish, improved FCR and a substantial reduction in operating expenditures
