Giáo Lý Ơi Ngày 5-6 Tháng 11 Năm 2016 Welcome to Issue #4 of GLO! We’re well over a month in Giáo Lý so far! Keep yourself updated with upcoming events and get involved! November Classes Schedule Reminder! November 12 - No classes, no 4pm Mass due to the Catholic Youth Convention “Reckless Mercy” in Puyallup (high school) November 26 - No classes, no 4pm Mass in session for the Thanksgiving Holiday! Be a Volunteer! Do you want to help others and have fun? Do you want to learn more about your faith while serving others? We invite you to be a part of the Giáo Lý team. We have a lot of fun and make new friends. Come celebrate both our Vietnamese and Catholic tradition. Contact Anh Lộc ([email protected] ) for more information! Two Nurses or Medical Doctors still needed for Medical/First Aid Team! On Saturdays, we still need two people to serve on our Medical/First Aid team. You will rotate one Saturday a month, so the commitment is easy to manage. We always have children with scrapes and bruises, and sometimes, there can be a real medical emergency. Please contact Chị LệTrường Vương to sign up ([email protected] ) Thêm Sức 3 Retreat! This past weekend, students of Them Suc 3 had a Kick-off night to bond, and begin tying together the 3 years of confirmation into a single story. They were able to reflect, pray, and invite the Holy Spirit into their lives. Please continue to pray for our confirmandi! Mass (6PM) & Adoration - Friday, October 7th Cha Thành is reserving adoration on the first Friday of each month for the youth! There will be weekly themes, and an opportunity to participate more by writing notes and prayer to offer to our Lord. Confession will also be offered during this time. We had a great turnout in October’s Adoration =) Everyone is invited to come and worship! Parent Email List - Are you getting last minute announcements? All news and weather-related announcements for Giáo Lý, TNTT, and VNDL are shared on our email group - [email protected] . For example, if we have a snow day or weather cancellation, we will announce it over email. Our most recent email to parents was shared on November 2nd.
